The condo is very comfy, and it has all the facilities that you might need on the trip. Robert was pretty helpful, we accidentally got locked out because of the date settings on the security key, but Robert was able to respond and resolve within an hourA/C doesn't work all that well to cool the entire property, but the fan kept us cool

Great Location!

Loved the location and the overall feel of the condo and surroundings. The condo was very much as pictured and very comfortable. We had beautiful weather but never used the A/C because the fans let us enjoy the tropical breezes. Robert was a great host and and answered any question we had promptly. It was a short walk to Charley Young Beach which is our favorite. Sunsets can't be beat. Wonderful grills for cooking out.The pool area is beautiful with lovely greenery but we wish it had been heated. Quite chilly to enjoy it.Overall it is a great place and you can walk to many restaurants and shopping areas and best of all, the beach! We would love to stay again when we return to Maui.Gail F.

Great Stay in Kihei

Short walk (5min) to Charlie Young Beach. Easy walk to Kalama Triangle with great locals. Condo was great. Robert has it stocked with the necessities we needed (beach chairs, cooler, cook ware, coffee maker and even had laundry soap, condiments and some items that it was great we didn't have to buy as we wouldn't use more than once or twice. Did not use use the pool as the beach was so convenient. Great stay. Looking forward to our next trip back to Robert’s condo. Mahalo

A beautiful day in Kihei indeed! First I just want to commend Robert, he was so responsive in a time when Maui experienced the fire tragedy. He kept me in the loop the entire time. Before The Fire

My son and I traveled to Kihei for a Mother Son trip. Upon arriving we were greeted with a text message from the manager welcoming us and just making sure our check in went smoothly. The space was clean and well furnished. The kitchen was equipped with everything i needed to make breakfast and other meals. The linen closet had plenty of towels and fresh sheets if needed, and they also had several options for the beach coolers, chairs, etc. I travel to Maui yearly and i was very impressed with the fact I DIDN'T SEE ANY BUGS!!! Being a tropical island there's usually 1 or 2 reasons to scream and grab a slipper. This time we didnt have to. Everything was wonderful, I am kinda spoiled when it comes to mattresses and i WASN'T impressed with their's. But it was quiet, clean, right next to everything, the heart of Kihei really. We hope to come back once the healing has happened and things have settled. God Bless Maui.

Value for money

Robert's property is centrally located and close to most of the places you are likely to visit on a trip to Maui. The place has a kitchen and has a very good bang per buck. We spent most of time outside and used this place to crash at night and it did a great job for this purpose.

Peaceful on Maui

This condo was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. An 8 minute walk to a swim in the ocean, close (easy walking distance) to beaches, restaurants, and services (by service, I mean an excellent cinnamon roll bakery). You’ll see a glimpse of sunset over water from the balcony. Hibiscus garden and singing birds added to a wonderful Maui experience. We would stay again.

New condo at Kalama Terrace for me

I have been coming to Kalama Terraces multiple tines a year for the last 8 years usually renting various friends condos. This is my first experience with renting this condo. Our stay was wonderful as all my stays at Kalama Terraces have been. The only issues I had were the communication with the condo manager. We were standing at the door with our luggage and food not able to enter because the code was not sent to me. After several calls the manager answered and we were able to enter. The manager said he has had health issues and inadvertently missed this vital point. Once in the condo’s blow up mattress that we were to use for my granddaughter would not hold air through the night. It had to be blown up three to four times during the night. I ended up buying a new blow up mattress to use. There was not sufficient bedding so I had to borrow from my friends there. Once all this was rectified we were able to enjoy our stay. I usually travel alone and if I were the condo would have been fine. This condo is for a single or couple only not for three as advertised unless the sleeping arrangement is changed.

Good Central Location

Good central location in Kehei. Robert was a good host and was very responsive. Wife and I are 45'ish so its not like we're young and roudy, but the complex has strict rules and quiet times (9pm to the minute the pool closes) so if you're looking to let your hair down a bit by enjoying the company of your spouse because you left the kids at home and then quietly listen to some tunes on your phone on the patio, the property manager will shut you down promptly at 10:01) Keep this in mind, not necessarily a knock but could be a selling feature, just know what you're getting yourselves into. I think the property is mainly for seniors but everyone staying there was super nice. Beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were super handy. The complex is an older location so it showed some age but the room is still decent for the price but nothing to write home about. Not a big deal because you're in Maui so what the heck are you doing lounging around anyway? Catch some zzz's and then get out early and enyoy the scenery. I just thank Robert for being on top of things and being a real nice guy.
