Amazing location and stay

We had a really great time staying here. The proximity to the beach, pool and sunsets cannot be beat for this price range. Incredible value.

Beautiful rental. We will continue to come back and stay here as long as we return to Maui. The location is prime, the beach is close, there is a market across the street, and the building staff is incredibly friendly. We love Kihei Surfside.

The beach and pool access was incredible!

The location to the pool and beach was perfect. Beautiful sunsets from the condo every night and an excellent snorkeling spot a short walk awat!

Great accommodation

This place was as described. The grounds were lush, and full of amenities. Great pool. Views and locale to beaches were all accessible via a short walk.

Loved it!

This location was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Our room did need a little TLC, the furniture is really tired - needs a good deep clean - paint. Overall excellent !

Great location

Great property, on the beach side of things... huge lawn around the pool... This unit is on the ground floor and has immediate access to that, making its location strategic for meeting for dinner or to go out. Recommend it. Would stay again.

Great location with all the necessities Best value I have found in Kihie. Will be back without a doubt. Stay and you will not be disappointed! Beautiful beach 2 min walk from the unit that you can walk for miles. Restaurants 1mile away, short 20 min walk. Good happy hr at Moose’s, taco Tuesday is busy. Picture is 30 sec out back door.

The BEST Kihei getaway!

This spot could not have been more perfect. The location is prime and close to a beautiful beach. The pool is steps from the front patio. I loved being on the ground floor and easily walking out onto the huge grassy yard. There were always families and kids playing, but it was never crowded. Well kept building and landscaping and very friendly staff. I would come back here without a doubt.

Great Location

Would easily be excellent however the Manager of the building decided it is ok to have her dog chase and kill baby chickens for everyone including children to see. This was disturbing to say the least.

Great Unit

We love Kihei Surfside!! Some units are better equipped than others, and this one is up near the top. All the things we could want during our 10-day stay. Plenty of fluffy towels, lots of space to put our stuff away, all the cooking utensils we could need, and the best selection of tupperware, this side of the Mississippi.

The best view (oceanfront) we've had in all the years renting in Kihei. The condo had everything we needed for staying in and cooking, also for beach walks (chairs, umbrella, etc). The ground floor access to the pool was so easy, basically you walk a few steps from 106 to the pool. Easy to go back and forth and grab drinks, towels, etc. People and neighbors were really nice. Looking to stay again next year!

Reviewer Comments: Our convenient, first floor, great view condo was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home; including a delicious welcome basket. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The furniture/design was tired but fine. We arrived on Maui during a heat and humidity wave so we used the portable air conditioner 24/7. It was adequate to keep living room about 75- bedroom warmer. We enjoyed using the beach chairs, noodles and beach bag that were all provided. Parking was easy with lots of shade too. It was a very good experience.

Reviewer Comments: What a wonderful stay in an updated condo with a well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bath, and great view of the ocean, pool, and gorgeous lawn from a comfy living & dining area. After enjoying breakfast on our lanai, we could simply walk onto the perfectly-manicured lawn to take a dip in the heated pool, read while relaxing on a chaise lounge with spectacular views, play at the beach, or snorkel to see the many turtles and colorful fish in front of the resort. We even saw a manta ray and several octopus this time. The gas BBQs are great for grilling while watching the sunset over the Pacific, and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Also, Zach's deli next door is so convenient for last minute groceries, snacks, and things we forgot, while the Five Palms Restaurant next door has excellent food and stunning ocean and beach views. We look forward to returning for another stay asap.

Best location in Kihei

If you have a car, this is the absolute best location in Kihei! There is nothing but grass, lava rock and sand between you and the ocean. Sitting on the lanai every morning with my coffee looking out at the water was such a treat. The pool looks very close in the photos but it is far enough away for privacy and it was rarely busy. The best beach in Kihei is just steps out the back door and around the corner. We rented snorkeling equipment for the week and went every morning right at the beach in front of the property. Lots of sea turtles and colorful fish to see every day. The bed was comfortable and there are extra stand fans to keep you cool at night. Only two cons, the wild Kihei roosters crowing every morning at 4:30 am (but you get used to it, and they are really pretty) and the condo felt cluttered. Every space was so filled with extra pillows, sheets, towels and furniture, that it was hard to find a place to put our suitcases. The location of the condo makes up for everything though... we'd go back in a heartbeat.

We have stayed in other units in the past and had not chosen this one because the layout is quite different than others. We were worried the kitchen would be very small since it didn’t have an island or peninsula. Instead, we found the unit to be very big, open, and easy to move around with 4 people. The best part about this unit was definitely it’s management. You can tell that they value the customer experience. We had everything we could possibly need in this unit already stocked, including a fun little welcome basket full of yummy Hawaiian treats. Such a nice touch. We did end up having to contact the management company when we arrived and they responded right away. We were highly satisfied with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This unit isn’t newly upgraded but is a good value and we loved it. One minor item is that the toaster needs replacing- only toasts one side of the bread and one of the burners on the stove didn’t work. Wailea Vacation Rental staff were very helpful!

Peaceful Getaway

The unit was great, the location was better! First floor unit was convenient and its just steps away from the pool. The lawn just outside the units sliding door was beautiful to take a walk on with our coffee, enjoy the oceanfront view, or grab a lounge chair to enjoy the afternoon sun. The room is well well ventilated, but be mindful on a windy day, it can gust through. Which was nice with a little sun tan :) overall great stay! check in was a breeze!
