Our second time staying at The Curry Mansion. This will definitely be our last. They use to offer free happy hour drinks. They also offered free breakfast sandwiches. They got rid of all of that to open a bar so they can make more money. They now did away with two parking spots for this bar. Parking spots were always taken. So you have to try to find an available spot and haul all your suitcases to hotel. We had stained bed sheets, texted company and they replied with, they’ll leave clean sheets in the hall for US to change. Great location , just noisy but that goes with staying close to Duval St.

Great historic home

The property was clean, it was close to everything. Great HH spritz bar. I will say the negative for us was the noise level. You could really hear all the night time late entertainment. It was loud, also the rooster early in the morning was super annoying. The garbage trucks and the blower also started at 7 am. Am extra blanket in the room would also be good.

We’ve stayed here many times, but this was the first with the new owners. There was no check-in/check-out. Just a text with a door code. Time saver! We loved this. They were great at communicating everything electronically and were fast to respond. Everything was clean and wonderful. The only downside- we really missed the breakfast and happy hour that we used to enjoy there.
