Perfect for my family of 4

This unit is located in a beautiful resort. The unit is spacious with a full kitchen that we used daily. My family loved the pools, water slide, beach, Duke’s restaurant and cafe. We highly recommend this unit!

Excellent location

We stayed for 10 days. Condo was near everything, beach, pools, stores and Dukes. So convenient. Quiet lanai and private, beds were so comfy too. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back!

Best vacation spot ever

We enjoyed everything about the Honua Kai location and in particular this condo met all our needs for our 18 mth old, 4 and 5 year old. The pools are perfect and didn't feel too busy and yet the kids also loved going to the beach and playing in the waves. For a calmer beach experience we just drove to baby beach in Lahaina a few times and went for dinner on Front Street. We can't wait to return. The property management team (Maui resort rentals) was also so helpful for anything we needed. I do not have anything bad to say about our trip. Mahalo!

Beautiful Apartment

I love that the apartment was on the ground floor so we could leave the room without waiting for an elevator. It was very clean, spacious and well maintained. Loved the location.I would stay there again.!

Relaxing Family Getaway

Loved the location, view, convenience, cleanliness of the property and pool. Staff was always friendly. Condo was comfortable and beautiful. We highly recommend Honua Kai and Condo H-112!!

Fun for all and easy access to beach, resort and kaanapali

Place was perfect for our family. Spacious, clean and comfy. The lanai / nano door to allow you to open up your space at night was lovely. Only suggestion is for more plates / cooking supplies - bowls, platters and a larger cutting board for use at the bbq. It was impossible to get restaurant reservations, so we did a lot of cooking. The kitchen was a huge bonus, so no complaints. You can’t go wrong with this unit!

condo was nice and clean, comfortable beds, property is good for kids, several pools and slide. Only 1 restaurant option on property, which is Dukes, good food. Not a lot of activities at the resort, disconnect between checking in with lobby and if you book through VRBO. Would stay there again.

Beautiful place in a great location! The lanai is perfect for kids and offers privacy in comparison to most. The location of this room in the resort was perfect for us. Very easy beach access, amazing sunset views over the ocean and a 1 minute walk to the coffee shop! The rooms are well stocked in regards to kitchen needs and even has beach stuff (chairs, cooler, umbrella). The resort was very clean and well kept and staff was very friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Great stay at Honua Kai condo

We had a great family vacation at this condo in Honua Kai. The condo was located perfectly on the side of the resort tower, away from the noise and busyness of the pool and main resort area. The first floor walk out to the beach path was perfect and we could watch the ocean while drinking our morning coffee on the lanai. The condo itself was super clean, well maintained and fully stocked with kitchen and bath supplies and even some beach items. Would 100% recommend this rental to others!

Great stay!

Family staying with 2 small children (both under 4) and it was perfect! Great location on the first floor - easy access to pools and beach. Host was very responsive along with management company for any pre-check in questions. Everything was as advertised and I would absolutely stay here again with.

Great condo and location!

We had a fantastic stay in this unit. This was our second time staying a the Honua Kai resort, and our first time in this unit. The condo is clean and nicely finished. The kitchen has plenty of plates, pots, pans, and utensils which we always appreciate. The management company managed all of our service needs during our stay and they were very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this unit and would be delighted to stay here again.

Lovely spot!

Great location with easy access to the beach. The chairs and umbrellas made for a great beach day. This property is amazing, has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Only caution about the resort is that it’s pretty much impossible to get a spot near the pools or get into Dukes, not even for a cocktail.

Marvelous property

My 17yo daughter, my parents in their 70's and I came to Maui for a wedding. I chose this property for multiple reasons and it was ideal! Mimi and Monty made our stay seamless and were quick to take care of any needs that we had. I really wanted something close to the beach and this was about a 1 minute walk there. We snorkeled right in front of the property several days and saw a variety of fish and some turtles. Very cool. I also needed 1st floor convenience for my parents and this fit the bill. I was a little worried because some of the satellite images indicated that you would be looking at a construction site next door when sitting on the lanai, but this is not the case. The property next door (a Westin property) is completely finished. Sitting on the lanai and having breakfast was wonderful. Parking is also super easy and the staff at Honua Kai are incredibly friendly. I can't say enough good things about this property. I hope to be back in the future.

Comprehensive Clean and Convenient

Mimi is proactive and timely with communications. Check in was easy. Condo was well stocked with all necessities and accessories for beach vacation. Location is top notch - ground floor, no elevators, walk out to pool and/or beach, close to front of hotel, close to garbage (but not too close), close to coffee. Super convenient to maximize fun in sun!

Perfect home base in Maui

We had a great stay at this unit, the resort is perfect for families and this unit is a perfect home base in Maui. Location is great and having a private patio is ideal. Mimi and Monty make the process so easy and take care of everything.

Mimi is a fantastic host, and this condo is stunning

The pictures of this condo really don't do it justice. The layout and high ceilings make it feel huge. It is clean, comfortable and really well taken care of. The location is perfect. It is steps away from the beach and pool, but you don't hear any of the noise. I don't think I would want to stay in a unit that faces the courtyard or ocean because there are people walking by all the time. We enjoyed drinking coffee and eating out on the lanai. The landscaping makes it very private. Checking in was a breeze. Monty texted me after our plane landed, and we just picked up our keys from the bell desk. He and Mimi were always a quick text away, and always super nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely Amazing - Paradise within steps of the Lanai

Our stay was perfect!! Mimi and Monty are exceptional hosts! We were very happy with the condo, being on the ground floor was a BONUS, and the location to the beach was within steps. The condo/resort was clean and all staff were so courteous during our 11 days. Highly recommend and will return for sure! We were so lucky to be there at the peak of Whale Watching, from our beach we saw them daily. Along with the turtles and snorkeling options along the shoreline. Having all the beach gear available in the condo is necessary and complimentary. We were stunned to learn The Westin, next door, charges a daily rate for their guests to use beach chairs/lounges. We took advantage of the suggestions/tips that were part of the condo! Don't hesitate to book with Mimi - a Lahaina gem of a getaway!!!!!!
