Tranquil and stunning place!

We had a wonderful stay and our expectations of the property were exceeded! The place was equipped with everything we needed and is beautifully designed. Very tranquil setting and highly recommend staying here. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Unplugged on the West Coast

The cabin had beautiful views of the Salish Sea. We watched for migrating whales and used the binoculars supplied by the owner. We played Scrabble, BBQ’d dinner, roast hot dogs over the fire pit for lunch and cozied up and read books in the evening listening to the crackle of the fire in the stove. We borrowed some jam for our daughter’s bizarre egg jam sandwich; were happy to find ketchup and mustard for our hot dogs and coffee to get our day started. We explored the hidden waterfall at Sombrio Beach, watched the surfers near Jordan River and walked French Beach at high tide, mesmerized by the waves rolling in. We even made the trip to Port Renfrew for a delicious dinner at The Renfrew PubHuge thanks to the hosts for thinking of everything. Our stay was short but perfect! We’ll be back!

wonderful stay

We agree with all the other reviewers: this home and property are fabulous! We enjoyed our one-week stay thoroughly. ... The views, cleanliness, solid-build, fantastic/functional kitchen, uncluttered decor, good quality fixtures and amenities (everything from bathrobes to board games to organic olive oil!), comfy furniture inside and out, great outdoor spaces, large rooms (including the bathroom and bedrooms) and storage spaces, use of natural cleaning and personal products, ongoing maintenance inside and out over the years, location, etc. all made for a wonderful stay. ... What made the stay perfect is Olivia's clear, respectful and responsive communication style and her dedication to treating us as if we were good friends of a good friend. ... Furthermore, she went above and beyond with accommodating a request we had by contacting the property's owner, Brian, right away - who in turn replied within a couple of hours. The next morning, Olivia dropped off items from her own home as an interim solution and then a few hours later delivered a permanent solution! That is amazing hosting. ... Olivia is a real gem and her generous and hardworking nature show in her actions and how wonderful the rental is overall. We have never given full stars to any host/place before; these hosts and the rental really deserve it. We look forward to coming back soon!

Amazing Canadian getaway

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet space with forest and Salish bay views. Well-stocked, comfortable beds, outdoor shower is great. Nearby surfing, biking.

Amazing time in the West Coast

We had a great time in this property, with my wife and dog. The house was all we wanted, comfort in wildness. Being closed to China Beach and Sombrio Beach was very convenient for us to manage our trip.

Relaxing stay in Jordan River

My family had a fantastic time during our stay in Jordan river. The property was stunning with an amazing view and everything was well thought out. There are lawn games, a fire pit along with a great kitchen and living space. My wife and daughter both thanked me for booking the property and want to go back next summer.

Perfect modern cozy cabin

This cabin is very private with a nice view of the ocean. It’s close to all the best trails on the Juan de fuca, and not too far from a little coffee shop and great pizza. The cabin has a beautiful modern/industrail look and has everything you could need for a great stay. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is amazing! Thanks for a great stay! We will be back for sure.

Surf getaway for the family

We loved our stay here! Our daughter is still talking about our "new house" and she loved sleeping on the bunk bed and not in her cot! The house was absolutely beautiful, and every detail was thought about. We were absolutely blessed with the northern lights sitting by the fire outside toasting marshmallows. It will be a vacation we will not forget. Hope to see you again. Thankyou for having us!

Beautiful views

My girlfriend and I had a great time staying here. With close access to beautiful beaches and a few delicious restaurants, and coming back to the house for a nice fire during sunset. We would definitely stay here again.

Long Weekend Getaway

We were repeatedly impressed with the build quality of this house/cabin and how well it was appointed during our stay. Very easy to enjoy meals and social time with the open concept layout and large deck. Bedrooms are private with comfy mattresses. The view is panoramic and offers a stunning sunrise. We played bocce ball and built an outdoor fire in the evenings. Simply perfect.

A Great Stay.

We had a great time here. The house and location is beautiful, even had a couple of bonus bunnies on the front lawn. Great wood stove, cozy beds, well equipped and nicely functional kitchen, great hiking nearby. Thanks for everything!
