Guest Access:

You will have the entire house and property to yourself. There is a small storage shed in the backyard that is not available for guests.

Monument Manor is Joshua Tree’s premier neighborhood, offering immediate park access and breathtaking craggy vistas.

Getting Around:

Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive vehicle is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.



GPS is accurate, however please follow our directions as some of the other approaches take you down fairly rough roads.



Other Things to Note:

◎ POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING:

The above ground hot tub is always free to heat. However, during the cooler months, there are extra charges for pool heating, see below. If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know 48 hours before you arrive.

◎ Extra Charges for Pool Heating:

✓ May/September: $150 per night

✓ October and April: $200 per night

✓ November, December, March: $300 per night

✓ January, February: $300 per night



◎ EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



◎ DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.



◎ SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!



◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.
