This is one of the nicest place we have stayed at. You must book Villas they are huge and clean and fun. The staff is excellent and kind. The breakfast menu is ok. This is the place to book. Don’t think twice about it. Best value in the area.

The Astari property and its surroundings are just stunningly beautiful, relaxed and quiet. Among the craziness of many parts of Bali, this little oasis in Jimbaran was a wonderful surprise and we were sad to leave. Within days, the incredibly friendly staff made us feel like family. After a few nights away in Ubud they had even decorated our room with flowers to welcome us "home". The rooms are spacious and clean and both the accommodation and the breakfast offerings are a bargain in this tropical jungle setting.

Amazingly friendly staff

The staff were amazingly friendly! The manager Surya, was superb! Every single member of the staff (Gena, Ode, Komang, all of them) were incredible. Food was tasty and served with love, thank you! Ohh, and beer was plentiful and always cold!

Absolutely loved the villa, ideal holiday accommodations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was an issue, including having our daily breakfast delivered promptly to our villa, hot and tasty. The small 24hr shops were just a short walk and catered for all your needs and not to expensive. Can't fault the villa and can't wait to return (didn't want to leave). Will book this place again.

The Astari floating breakfast was excellent. The service was also great—they set up airport transfer flawlessly and carried our bags when we arrived at 1 AM.

Fabulous, comfortable stay - such gracious staff

We enjoyed the Astari. It was spotlessly clean with well tended gardens and a pristine pool with loungers, always with a rolled towel on. The staff are very attentive and do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable (even found less-plump pillows for us) Breakfast offers a good variety. The complimentary 15 minute massage was excellent. The only downside to Astari is that it’s a bit outside Jimbaran - it’s a15 minute walk, but not a pleasant walk on a very busy road. As always there are taxis.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and they were happy to let me stay in the villa all day even though I didn't need to leave for the airport until the evening. But the wifi wasn't very good - I had to keep logging in every five minutes or so on my iphone as I was logged out all the time and I couldn't stream programmes or download anything.
