There is a bad roach infestation in the home. The host was called initially to treat the problem, but the roaches won that battle. On top of that, the fire alarm beeped every minute from midnight until about 9 o'clock in the morning when the host came to address the problem. The host was unable to fix the beeping alarm, so the alarm was removed from the home. Roaches persisted day two and a three of the stay. We bought Raid to try and treat the home ourselves. There were roaches upstairs coming out of the attic door and they were horrible in the kitchen area and living room space. After some conversation with the host she agreed to refund the cleaning fee. However after suggesting that the first night should be refunded because we were unable to sleep due to the alarm that she could not fix, she refused to refund night one. The home itself is nice but the extra guests and the lack of an amicable resolution to the concerns raised would not allow me to recommend that place to anyone or stay there again.
