Every time I visit Istanbul, I stay at the Havana residence in Beyoğlu. It truly feels like home! The location is perfect — right in the center, so everything is within walking distance: shops, cafes, and all the main attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the room service lady is simply wonderful — kind, hardworking, and always smiling. The owner is just as amazing — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. I’ve stayed here several times, and the experience is consistently excellent. If you’re looking for a cozy, central place with genuine hospitality, this is the best choice in Istanbul.

The location was great just few minutes walk from Istiklal Street, Taksim square, Galatea Sarai, kabas and Karakoy. The staff were excellent. The room was spacious with nice decoration and comfortable bed. The bathroom was fully equipped with hot powerful shower.

Poor service

There is no reception and it is an unmarked building. Had a really hard time trying to check-in and after calling hotels.com was able to at least leave my bags. Had I known early check-in was not an option I wouldn’t have booked. The side furnishings in the room were still wet from having been wiped down with cheap cleaning fluid. The bed was comfy though and thankfully I went for the premium deluxe room

The rooms are clean and nice. Unfortunately you cannot operate the air conditioner because there is no remote control. Since the building is old, the rooms are cold and poorly insulated. you can easily hear even the slightest sound from the outside and inside the hotel in the room.

“I had an amazing stay at the Havana Residence in Istanbul! The rooms are impeccably clean, quiet, and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The location is unbeatable – everything is within walking distance, and it’s close to all the key spots I wanted to visit. Daha önce her fırsat bulduğumda konakladığım bir otel. Gayet hoş ve güzel. Mert bey sağ olsun çok ilgili. Oda düzeninden sorumlu bayan arkadaşta işine sadık ve güler yüzlü birisi. Her gittiğimde kaldığım oda temiz oluyor. Zaten konum olarak taksimin her köşesine yakın 3 dk da istiklale çıkıyorsunuz. Çok memnunum :) Bu arada bir önerim olacak. Duş bölümüne hijyen ürünleri koymak için küçük raf gibi bir şey takmak çok daha rahat duş almamıza imkan sağlar. Teşekkürler the havana residance Yine gideceğim :)
