expensive for what you get

well located, near to Blue Mosque but in a busy neighborhood, taxi wasn't be able to let us by the door so we had to walk one block with all luggage over stones side walk . Room was too small with no space to fit luggage so it was expensive for that area . dirt under beds and stair walls need some paint. Restaurant has a great view but breakfast is basic

Very centrally located for shopping as well as site seeing. Hotel was clean, staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. I do not recommend the massage at the hotel. No privacy and people walking in and out of the room during the massage.

The hotel is a good options for those in transit. It is clean. Be aware about getting taxi service to the airport. Even though the staff assured me the driver had a fixed rate and paid in advance at the hotel, the driver tried to charge me extra to get to the faster route to the airport. It is unfortunate drivers are always trying to get advantage of tourists.

The services provided by staff were exemplary. Not only did we feel welcomed, anything we needed from car service, the spa, where to eat, shopping, they provided good information. The rooftop experience was the best! As well as the restaurant that was suggested. Their hammam spa, it was wonderful and we didn't have to leave the hotel!

Good location, however rooms were very small and quite dusty. We booked especially for the rooftop breakfast however this was extremely poor. The hours are 7.45-10.30am we went at 8.30am and not a lot on offer and was not refilled, I had plain bread with butter. We had coffee and then went out for breakfast.

I can only speak highly of this group. After staying for 1 week, they made my feel like it was home. The staff were really tentative, happy to share conversation, gave great advice, went out of their way to get our room ready 5 hours before check in. They're such hard working, hospitable people. They went out of their way to get my husband's dinner from another restaurant and were all round amazing and helpful, except for the guy sleeping during his shift, who also gave me the wrong pricing for our laundry which ended up costing a fortune, and the lady that gave me a massage had terrible and left the room 6 times! But to the managements defence, they offered me another massage. The room was perfect for our needs. It was well cleaned by their amazing cleaner. We had a cute balcony to view the action below. It can be noisy but its a busy part of Istanbul, just 5 minutes walk to the blue mosque. So central to all of the tourist attractions, all within easy walking distance. The rooftop has a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an amazing view of the blue mosque. The kitchen closes at 11 but the staff cooked for us at 10.50 pm and allowed us to take it to our room. The food was delicious, staff were feiendly and talkative. All in all, i loved my experience at Hotel Perula, the guys have shared in my memories that will last a lifetime! I would definitely recommend them to everyone and if i was fortunate enough to visit again, this would be my first choice!

My room on 5th floor was right below restaurant. There was small staircase that separated my room from the rooftop restaurant. It was very noisy from the afternoon till late night. I complained about the noise from loud music and people talking loudly in the rooftop restaurant...especially late night but nothing was done for all 4 nights i stayed at this hotel. Each night, the noise level was terrible until midnight or later. I was not able sleep or properly rest all 4 days and nights I stayed at this hotel. This hotel should not be considered VIP property. That will deceive people when booking this hotel. This hotel really needs to either close the rooftop restaurant or close all 3 rooms on the 5th floor that are so close to the restaurant. It is not fair that after paying so much money for 4 nights stay, what I had to go through in terms of noise levels in this hotel, especially during each night.

Amazing stay

Really nice people, very helpful, the hotel is a walking distance from main attractions in Istanbul, the front desk staff are amazing and really help me to find out good places and good deals. I’m very happy to find this lovely place in the heart of Istanbul.

Very small hotel , tiny rooms , shower not enough to stand in it , pathetic breakfast with no refills or variety , low on staff. Makeshift attendant on breakfast , poor terrace condition and view Insisting on paying cash in Euros for any service like airport pick up etc. highly non professional . Pls be very careful while selecting this place . Highly disappointed . Kept me waiting at airport while saying the booked transport is coming soon ( probably they called uber ) and charge customer higher . Dnt look at the photographs and be decived about property
