Beautiful, Relaxing View of the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very nice Port O Call condo. We rented this condo for a week in May and will be renting it again in July. The condo is well appointed but the only downside is the refrigerator not having an ice maker. But we bought ice and made due with that. The views from the top deck are fantastic and great for star gazing. Relaxing on the screened-in deck looking over the beach is wonderful.

Reviewer Comments: Close to Charleston, Boon Hall Plantation, and Patriots Point. Location on the beach was perfect - the screened porch was great and was the top floor "perch". One issue - mattress was hard and at certain points the box spring creaked. I was told that had been addressed but apparently not. Other than that issue, our choice was jst what we wanted!

The freezer shelves fell out when you opened them. The dishwasher was messed up. When you pulled the rack out it went off track plus it leaked. For what I paid for 3 nights, I was highly disappointed. The only thing that I can say was good about this rental was the view and the bed was comfortable. If I come back, I will be staying in a different rental.

Breathtaking Views, Cozy, but desperately needs a new mattress!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I enjoyed a 3-night stay at this place! The ocean views were incredible to watch sunrise and ocean life. The cozy condo had great beach access, with abundant of chairs and sand toys provided, which I thought was a great touch of home. The shower was delightful. For having such a great upscale accommodation, the owners truly need to read this review with constructive criticism and upgrade the king mattress! The current mattress is so hard, there is no difference than the floor. We ended up moving to the couch pull out sofa for the remainder of the stay, which was extremely dissatisfying. The King bed had sensual mirrors, great views, and a harder than a rock mattress. Hopefully there will be an upgrade for other couples to receive a more luxurious experience. I will forgo this place in the future if the mattress remains.

Reviewer Comments: CLEAN AND NEAT.GREAT VIEW WE THAT ALL ALONG USED F AND B BLDGS SINCE 1982.FRIDGE HAD NO ICE MAKER.MANUAL TRAYS FOR VACATION FOR REFRESHMENTS IS NOT FUN.1940 PLACE FOR MAN TO HAVE PERSONAL ITEMS ON DRESSER.WOMENS STORAGE SINK AND BAR FOR APPETIZERS IN FOYER AND NO PLACE TO PUT ANYTHING ANYWHERE.IF U ARE A WRITER OR ARTIST A TABLE ON THE SCREENED PORCH INVITES CREATIVE WRITING SKILLS AND A PLACE TO PLAY CARDS ALL NIGHT LONG AND WATCH THE SHRIMP BOATS.THE ISLAND REALITY STAFF WAS EXCEPTIONAL. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH I R. COOPER WENT THE EXTRAL MILE TO TO HELP AN 84 YR OLD MAN AND WIFE. HE REASSURED ME THAT IN EVENT OF MANDITORY EVACUATION HE WILL HELP ME DOWN THE STEPS TO GET OUT. HE ALSO HELPED GLORIA AT HARRIS TEETER WHEN WAS LOCKED OUT OF THE CAR. HE OFFERED HIS PERSONAL ATTENTION TO ME AT ANY TIME OF NEED AND WAS VERY REASSURING IN ALL CONVERSATIONS.KAREN ALSO DID A FANTASTIC JOB IN REASSURING TWO ELDERLY'S THAT ELEVATOR WORKED AND WAS CALLING TO SEE IF WE WERE OK AS WELL. SHE DESERVES HIGH HONORS AS WELL THE TWO DIOD A GREAT JOB AND WE WERE VERY THANKFUL OF THEIR CARE AND CONCERN. WHEN SPEAKING TO DAN IN THEIR ABSENCE HE ALSO SAID IF WE NEED HELP HE OFFERED HIS SERVICES. THE STAFF DID A GREAT JOB.SPECIAL THAT KS TO THEM . Port O Call F302

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Port O Call is one of my favorite places to stay. And we will return. This is the first time I stayed in this unit. The unit itself was wonderful. It was light and airy. (some of the pictures need to go LOL) My husband and I have 3 things we look for in a rental. 1. The view, 2. the furniture, and 3. the comfort of the bed. #1 is truly amazing. For #2, We spend a lot of time (hours!) in the screened porch. It has a spectacular view facing the ocean. However the furniture was lacking. It had 2 folding chairs and 2 rocking chairs. Even though the rocking chairs look nice, they are not very comfortable after a short period of time. We had to use cushions which didn't fit to make it tolerable. The most important thing to us was the bed. It was very hard & the most uncomfortable bed we ever slept in. We didn't sleep well. Everyone is different so this may not be a factor for you. I really loved this unit besides those two things and they are easily fixed by the owner. I would go back in a heart beat if those got updated. Very clean. Going up to the top floor to the open porch and sitting outside was spectacular (in late Oct). I would highly recommend this unit if those 2 things do not matter to you or the owner updated them. It truly is a slice of heaven.

F302 Port o’ Call has great views from the screened-in deck & rooftop deck. Perfect for a couple or family of 3. Very clean but could use a little mildew control on the bathroom ceiling & living room pocket door. But you are by the ocean after all. Wish the door code & info could’ve just been in a text or email instead of stopping by the office, but overall a great experience. We will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the B and F units before. Great view of the ocean and the unit has a nice layout. We had 81F and sunny every day. This unit, F302, was nicely updated, bonus was the closet with extra beach gear.The only negative was Roku with limited channels. Also, the bar counter did not have any counter chairs.The sliding doors to the screened in porch need lubrication.Great unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two years in a row the television did not work. Shortly after checking in around 5:00 PM, I called the answering service. She said that the message would be forwarded to maintenance. They did not show at all. After about an hour of twisting and replugging cords it worked.

The weather was nice for quiet beach walks. We enjoyed the screened porch for reading and relaxing, and the views are beautiful from the whole condo. There are lots of holiday festivities to enjoy in the local area as well, including the Holiday Lights Festival at James Island. We had a wonderful time.

The ice trays took 24 hours to freeze so we had to go out to buy ice. The pull out trays for the freezer fell out in the floor every time you pulled them out, Same with the dishwasher. For such an excellent place you do do much better with appliances, obviously, the cheapest they could buy.
