Not as expected
First impressions make the difference. I book based on strong reviews and accuracy of listing. This home, unfortunately, didn't live up to the reviews, listing photos or description.Pros: The Lifestyle membership is great for the courts, center, and pool. Convenient location for all the activities we planned while in the area. Michael, the property manager, was responsive to address issues as we raised them, and seemed genuinely surprised about the condition of the house. Cons: The house was not stocked/maintained as advertised. It's clearly not had recent maintenance (incl broken.missing screens. No toilet paper, no trash bags, no dish soap, etc. Whatever happened, the house had been cleared out. Michael quickly ordered a bunch of supplies to be delivered that night. There were so many lightbulbs out, and non-working ceiling fans he sent out a handyman the next day. But that turned into a 7 hour project and another call to Michael when the guy didn't return after leaving for parts (in the end, only the lightbulbs got changed). Towels were gross and stained and only 2 handtowels in the entire 3 bedroom home (none in the kitchen). The lovely outdoor cushions were destroyed/stuffing hanging out. Again, Michael took care of having new things delivered quickly, but not what I expect to find at this price point. We stocked/left a number of items for the next guests (oil, salt/pepper, sugar, pantry items, some kitchen utensils, storage containers, foil, kleenex, etc).
