There were a lot of things that were not operational like the gas grill that was actually connected to a gas line so it did not need a tank. There were a few canister lights out in the kitchen and the flatware was old but overall it was a good stay thank you.

Vacay before the cruise

Cleaning could have been more thorough, we found a shaker filled with an unknown substance from the previous guest. Refrigerator was leaking water. Pool was not clean upon arrival. We were unable to control the temperature in the house using the thermostat. Property was nice and spacious but needed television in downstairs rooms! Furniture needed updating. Railing loose leading upstairs

Awesome large property close to everything.

We had a large group of all different people heading to a show at 713 music hall. It was super close! It was perfect for a night in Houston with everyone having their own space. The kitchen equipment was lacking to cook - just know you should bring your own pans, paper towels, trash bags, seasoning, etc. plenty of plates, coffee mugs and utensils! We loved the space and had a great time.

Dirty, stinky, and could not stay there!

I hardly ever write bad reviews and I wasn't going to write one on this one because the host was very kind and quick to respond .... at first. However, circumstances have changed. Read on. We arrived to the house on Aug. 26, 2024 at 4:30pm it was obvious that someone had been smoking weed inside the house. It smelled so strong that two of my co-workers immediately got horrible headaches. They had to go outside for fresh air. The house was filthy and it was noticeable that it was not cleaned well at all. We immediately contacted the host, Tyler, and told him we could not stay there and to please refund our money. He apologized for the mess and the smell, and said he would speak with his partner and get us our money back and asked me to please not leave a bad review. I told him I wouldn't leave a bad review because he was responding so well and quickly with me and I really appreciated that! Well, it is now Oct. 21st, It's been almost 2 months, and I have not received my $1423.00 back. I have left him several messages and he is no longer responding to me. I feel cheated!

There were some small issues which were mostly handled in a timely manner over the week, but a very nice 3 story Condo with very nice pool and hot tub. Secure Parking and great view of downtown.

Spacious house

The house was very spacious. We found the instructions placed throughout the house useful. The pool was a nice treat. Once indoors, we could not hear outside noise. We had a small gathering, and this place was the perfect place to entertain!

The place was nice. My family enjoyed our time staying there. The pool was heated and great. However, parking was limited for multiple cars. Contact with host was a little difficult but when he did respond all issues were addressed.

Houston Business Trip

We recently attended a Trade Show at the GRB convention center. As opposed to everyone getting their individual hotel rooms, we decided to try VRBO as an alternate. I have to say that everyone enjoyed our trip much better as we were not cramped into a tiny hotel room for the week. The location is perfect for downtown activities, but far enough away if wanting to wind down. We look forward to booking this property again in the future. Great experience!

Colin’s Stay

Our stay at Tyler’s property was nothing less than amazing. The property is located downtown and perfect for bigger groups. It’s safe and secure and located across from a police station. You also have enough privacy in every part of the house. Def would book this place again. Tyler was also very communicative and checked on us periodically throughout the stay. 10/10 highly recommend.

Location was perfect

The furniture is outdated & needs to be upgraded. They also should put tv's in all rooms. I must say the beds were extremely comfortable & the house was clean. It accommodated my family & there were 17 of us! I think the house itself is nice but it can be extremely nice if furniture was updated! Besides that I'd overall give this house 5 stars!

January Birthdays

Gathering Hub to safely celebrate multiple birthdays. Check in and Check out were clear and quick, no issues. Beds were super comfy and private. Family areas were spacious with plenty of seating. Kitchen was extremely clean. We are definitely planning to come back. Downtown View was breathtaking from any balcony. Note: Bring with your favorite snacks and drinks so you don’t have to go out. A couple of eateries in the immediate area.

Wonderful staycation.

This house is made for entertaining. Lots of room, Bluetooth ceiling speakers in every room, wet bar, pool table, hot tub, swimming pool, projector tv, etc but do it quietly as per the many reminders from the listing, house instructions, message from the owner and the sound moniters throughout the house otherwise you will be charged. If i were hosting a party or gathering at this house I would be a nervous wreck. But I wasn't and all was well. The owner was easy to communicate with and didn't freak out when I thought I broke his gate (I didn't) and even gave me a pretty substantial discount on adding additional nights to my stay. I feel like I have to give a heads up on things that I was not expecting. Don't expect high end luxury at this house. It's comfortable but could use updating and a deep clean. I'm glad I brought my own pillows. My main attraction to this house was the swimming pool and the location. The location was awesome and there are great views of the skyline from various spots in the house. I was slightly disappointed to see that the pool was not the cleanest but it was soooo hot I just didn't care. Not only did I swim twice a day everyday but in fairness I didn't bring this to the owner's attention. I enjoyed my stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great property and perfect location

The property was great for my wife's birthday weekend. Large space for entertaining and the pool was good for the kids. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. Location was great if you are wanting to be in the heart of the city.
