We installed a new pool with a spa in 2016. This island home just one block from the beach offers a one of a kind setting which affordably gives you the pleasures of a spring-fed lake with dock as well as one block (3 minute walk) to the beach with a peek of the gulf. The beautiful lake is home to all types of fish ranging from Snapper, Redfish, Tarpon and Mullet. Practice your fishing skills. (Please keep in mind for all of our future enjoyment we do practice catch and release.) You will enjoy the very light and open floor plan immaculately furnished with three bedrooms and two full baths as well as an outside shower. The third bedroom includes a handsome writing desk and TV. Enjoy your morning coffee and sunrise on the beautiful awning covered back balcony overlooking the pool, spa and lake then relax in the evening enjoying the beautiful sunset on the beach.

Very grateful for the communication. Communication is key in avoiding any confusion or questions and everything was as promised. This rental had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Minor essentials such as toilet paper etc are the renters responsibility so if stopping by Publix be sure to stock up. I’d definitely rent again possibly for two weeks next time Thanks for sharing your your home.

The house was very clean and generally as described. The host texted me on on the day of check-in that the pool heater had broken. The pool was not heated, but they were working on fixing this. I patiently waited the first couple of days for the pool to heat. It never got warm enough to swim. The maintenance person informed me the heater was only strong enough to heat either the spa OR the pool, not both at once. The spa was warm sometimes, not all the time. I had no control over the temperature for the spa nor the pool. We were only able to use the spa once in a while. Sometimes I went outside to use it, and I could not due to it being cold. The owner sent maintenance who tried to monitor the pool and spa heater via a remote app. The concern was regarding how to monitor the temp remotely, and not fixing the problem of a cold pool.We booked the house primarily for a heated pool. When asked, the owner defended that it was February and it was not realistic to expect a heated pool. I expected the heated pool because it was advertised. The owner was responsive but ultimately the problem was never fixed. We enjoyed the island but never the pool. It was a waste. We paid more for this premium feature. The owner refused to provide any type of credit. Vrbo sided with me and provided a small vrbo credit. If you stay here, do not expect resolutions for maintenance problems.

Cleanest Air BB I’ve ever rented! A little dated and nothing fancy, which the price reflects. But it was perfect for us! Great location, steps to beach and a mile from tons of food/shops/marinas. I will say, do not rent this place for the fishing lol…my kids and husband tried every day with allll kinds of bait and not even a nibble. Regardless, no complaints about the property! 10/10!

Great home!

This home was perfect for us! The pool was amazing, the house was clean, kitchen had everything we needed. It was spacious and homey. Even though we like the beach farther up north of the island, the beach just a block away was an easy walk. Would highly recommend and will stay again!

Wonderful first stay in AMI!

We loved staying at this home in Holmes Beach! It was very clean and the walk to the beach was not far at all! Loved the pool and was great to be able to use all of the beach chairs & wagon. Christy was quick to answer any questions I had, would love to stay here again!!

Another great AMI trip

This was our second trip to AMI and we loved the house and the location of it. We could walk to the beach everyday and you can even see it from the front door! The pool and hot tub were nice. The house came with all amenities that you might need. We will be back!!

Great quiet location

Loved the location - we’ve stayed at far north end several times before of AMI, but we preferred this location. It was very quiet, lovely that it backed into lagoon. The pool and hot tub were in great shape and heated nicely. The house itself is taken well care of and has so many amenities to make your trip easy (cookware, beach accessories, etc). Highly recommend and would stay again!
