This house was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal, offering quick access to everything while remaining peaceful. The home itself is incredibly spacious, clean, and well-equipped. This review is LONG overdue! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Red Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Yellow Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Red Door Lodge was the "main" get-together house. As family arrived in Savannah and then made the 45 minute drive to their hotels in Hinesville, they would come visit us, have some food (we had made multiple different crock-pot style dishes that could be heated up quickly) take pics of the house (more on this later) and then go about their day. Those who were staying with us just kicked off their shoes and fully absorbed everything that these two properties had to offer!Both houses are so unique and creatively decorated!! The best word I can use to describe them is FUN!! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AT THESE HOMES!!Back to the decorating...each home had its own theme and every single detail was carefully planned out and executed with brilliance! Every single person who stepped into either house took pictures with the decorations. It was GREATNESS!!Gwen & Deb are FANTASTIC hosts! They answered any/all of our questions in a very timely manner.I hope that we can stay with them again in the future!

HOUSE CONDITION?!?

We rented at the same time last year, and I see you have much damage compared to last year. also, I noticed your deposit was much higher, don't like putting that much of my money on hold. especially when I also purchase the insurance. I think a checklist at check-in would help let you know what we see wrong and let you know upfront. Margaret

Extremely comfortable & fabulous stay

We had a fabulous staycation! Traveled for work and brought the kids along too, the theatre too was a hit! They have spared no expense to make the house as comfortable and convenient as possible, and the decor is something similar to Atlanta, we loved it!

Family gathering

The whole family enjoyed our stay. Great house for family gatherings. Owner is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Only two minor changes I would recommend; master shower head sprays water everywhere. So we used the shower in the hallway bathroom, mostly. Also I would recommend updating the listing to saying only two dogs allowed. As we didn’t know there was a limit at time of booking, but made arrangements so we could still enjoy this house.

Classy, Comfortable house

We all had a great time during our stay. We especially loved the movie room with big screen tv and comfy recliners. The huge king & queen chairs (we called them) made great photo props. We took walks in the well manicured neighborhood and felt very safe. We bbq'd on the grill which just happened to be the exact one we have too. An outside canopy was provided for us to use. The house location was convenient for us, easy access to stores, and the church which was the main reason for our visit. My son & husband even found a store, Manhatten, to get a suit. Some close places to visit are beaches, Savannah, Brunswick. We would definitely recommend and use again.

Beautiful Home and Conveniently Located

My family was in town to attend a family event. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The neighborhood was quit and well kept and close to tons of restaurants and shopping. The home was easy to access with lots of Smart Technology. My kids really enjoyed the home theater and comfortable beds. The host (Debra) was amazing as she was able to assist us with an emergency within minutes of me calling her. Word to the wise if you're going to take kids with you defiantly purchase the damage protection coverage. Check-in was simple and Check-out was easy as they only ask for a few easy task be completed. I would book this property again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you for having my family in our time of need.

Sometimes it the small details that matter. They tried to think of things to add that little extra special touch to your stay. The house was clean and well appointed. Debra went out of her way to assist us when we got there. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I went to Hinesville to spend a few days with our son and his girlfriend. The property was well-maintained and Debra was welcoming and helpful! We prepared a Thanksgiving meal and everything we needed was there. We had a wonderful stay and we will be sure to book again for our next visit to Hinesville.

What a beautiful home, very clean with high quality amenities.

Beautiful Home!

Our stay was nothing short or wonderful! The host clearly gives much attention to making sure that you are comfortable! The added perks to include complementary snacks, breakfast items and extra toiletries are only a few of the reasons that we felt at home. The large outdoor space was an added bonus! I highly recommend this home for any group visiting the Hinesville area. We look forward to our next visit!
