Gorgeous Neighborhood and Wonderful Property!
We came to Hilton Head as first timers, but this will not be our last time! We loved how walkable everything in our neighborhood (Palmetto Dunes) was--15 mins from the beach, 10 mins from great restaurants, tennis and pickle ball courts, and golf. There were easy bike rentals close by if we wanted them. There were easy bike rentals close by if we wanted them.
Right outside of Palmetto Dunes were Kroger, Whole Foods, and Walmart so shopping for food was easy. The property was very clean and nicely set up. Hilton Head, in general, was small enough that we could do something in the morning and come back home for lunch and then go out again and do something else.
Our only two complaints and the reason we gave it four starts instead of five is that all the light bulbs were too low wattage throughout the house which made it very dark inside even with all the lights and lamps on. Both of the showers were really, really, really dark and the shower heads need replacing in both showers.
Thank you for a wonderful week to recoup as a family after a harrowing year of fostering. It was just what we needed!
