Chestatee River Cottage

Esta adorable cabaña junto al río en el Chestatee está a solo minutos del centro histórico de Dahlonega, bodegas y lugares para bodas. A solo 7 millas de GA 400, la ubicación es fundamental para todo lo que querría hacer y ver. Disfrute del paisaje y la vida silvestre desde la gran cubierta cubierta, llueva o truene. Puedes escuchar el sonido tranquilo de los rápidos cercanos desde la cubierta. Los pájaros cantores, así como el pato, las garzas azules, los ciervos y la esquiva nutria de río hacen su aparición de vez en cuando. The house is immaculately well kept and the view is stunning! The decor is beautiful and cozy. It truly felt as though we were staying at a treasured friend’s home. Details throughout the home were very thoughtful. After the drive, it was such a treat to discover frosted mugs in the freezer to enjoy as we grilled out. We loved having coffee on the deck, wading in the river, and reading on the swing. We did not want to leave and will be back!

Stayed but didn't

During our trip up a terrible storm blew through the upper north Georgia area knocking out power, downing trees and causing general chaos. The owner gave us a heads up on the happenings and helped us graciously through the problems we encountered. We really appreciate you Bruce! Thank you for all you did!

Cozy Hideaway

Perfect and peaceful

This property is amazing. The house was very clean and had every amenity we could want or need. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch area, on comfy and clean outdoor furniture, listening to the sound of the rushing water. We loved this place. The owner lives next door-we met him and he is a very nice and helpful host.

Best Cabin Ever!

This cabin was immaculate, extremely well equipped, everything worked perfectly, even all the light switches were labeled. The floor plan with 2 master suites was perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the large porch overlooking the river and our host, Bruce, told us to look for the family of ducklings and a pair of bald eagles. Dahlonega is a cute town to visit and we did several hikes in the area. We can’t recommend this cabin enough and certainly hope to return!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an AMAZING time! The property was clean and welcoming, with amazing access to the river and town! Bruce and Lisa were so kind throughout the duration of our stay, as well. We would absolutely recommend this spot for any type of stay!

Nice Mountain Getaway

Beautiful property by the water. Everything was clean and the decor was as relaxing as the river. The host was gracious to stock pretty much everything you need. Host was also quite knowledgeable of the area and the history of Dahlonega. This location was a wonderful ‘find.’

This property is wonderful. The cabin has all the amenities of home with extra attention to detail. The view of the river is amazing and so relaxing. The location is great and very close proximity to downtown Dahlonega. We will defiantly look to stay here again on our next visit to the mountains.

Christmas Vacation

Wonderful stay at the cabin on the river! Everything we could possibly need as well as a Christmas tree! Place was immaculate and went well and above what most VRBOs do. Convenient to Dahlonega as well as day trip to Helen. The fire pit overlooking River was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

Another Cozy & Relaxing Stay

This isn't the first time we stayed at this cozy home. It indeed will be our go-to place when visiting north Georgia. The home has everything needed. It is clean and just a warm and inviting home. We love the location. Away from it all yet easy to get to town and attractions such as some great nearby wineries. And being right on the river is awesome!
