The house is disappointing. Maintenance and upkeep are severely lacking. The kitchen was probably the biggest disappointment. The small selection of pots were so badly damaged and rusty that cooking in them was out of the question. The dishwasher malfunctioned on the first cycle, and had to be turned off at the electric panel. The owner was notified, and Said he would have it looked at. The repairman never showed. Countertops are broken, as well as kitchen drawers.
The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. There is no exhaust fan in any of them. If the bathroom had a towel rack, it was broken, or falling out of the wall. The master bathroom doesn't have any towel bars, nor does it have a toilet paper holder. The door to the shower can't close, it has shifted, and now strikes the floor, leaving a 2 to 3 inch gap.
Throughout the home you can see signs of neglect. Window and door blinds are broken or completely missing. The thermostat is crooked. Screens are torn.
I do believe at one time this house was beautiful, now it's more disappointing than satisfying.
