our stay was good! there was a couple things however that we didn’t love. the shower was a little dirty and grimy and there was no way to lock the door from the inside which i really didn’t like. This became an issue this morning when someone came into our room at 10am when we were still asleep. Had we been changing or in the shower this would have become an even bigger issue.

Terrific place to stay when visiting Hamburg

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was close to the places we wanted to visit. Very easy to get to with a little bit of walking to the local train station. We wanted a kitchen and got a lovely one that was well outfitted for our needs. The layout of the little efficiency apartment was ideal in that the main room was split into by a room divider with a television that could swivel from one side to the other and that made it feel like two rooms – a bit more privacy than would otherwise be the case. We never met any staff because everything was automated and we were received a code for getting into the building and into our rooms the day before our arrival. It was very much our little home away from home.

Be prepared for conflicting messages and overall confusion on when you can actually check in. The idea of a contactless hotel check in is great. But when you’re WhatsApping with AI, automated messages, and different agents, there’s zero clarity. The numa system needs to be improved.

The room included a small Kitchenette, which was convenient (although the dinnerware only had one cup). The building is near a high-traffic street, so if you sleep with open windows, expect to hear ambulances throughout the night. Rooms are modern and practical, but only tended to / cleaned once a week, so be prepared to make your own bed and wash the dishes on your own. Breakfast selection is very, very limited. It is not like a hotel, where you at least have several "Continental-breakfast" choices. Here you get to choose between a two sandwiches, a couple of Croissants (plain or with chocolate), and a bowl of yoghurt with fruit. That's it! Finally, there is no on-site Front Desk. All communication with the staff is electronic, mainly by WhatsApp. They do respond quickly, but it is "unusual", to say the least, if you're expecting this to be like a regular hotel. It is not. No front desk, no restaurant. But all-in-all, it worked out fine, with the exception of one night with a screaming/yelling and furniture-moving neighbor. Limited parking available on-site at an additional cost. You can park on the street, although it is often challenging to find an available parking space. The property is clean and modern. The area is a business / office district, without any commerce or restaurants. The closest train station is about 900 meters away, which is a nice walk if the weather is good.

Functional hotel near airport

The room was small and efficient. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were OK. The bathroom was small. Everything worked. The only inconvenience was the parking. If one parked in the building's area, the cost was $15 (US Dollars). However there was free parking in the street if you searched. The rate of the hotel at $185 was way too high for what they offered.
