Getting Around: This is an excellent location for those who enjoy walking to their destinations. If you have a car, there is on street parking nearby. If you are a bus go-er your steps away from the nearest bus stop!

To efficiently manage the small number of parking spots available and enhance our guests' experience, we've collaborated with the parking operator, 'Honk.' Bring cheese for the mice in the unit!!
Stayed here for a few days and on the last day found out there are mice in the unit. They were underneath the bed chewing and would scurry around the room. Absolutely disgusting. I messaged the host and they just stopped responding and were completely unhelpful.

This loft was perfect for our time in Halifax. We were in town to watch our daughter play volleyball & the University was super close. Groceries are within walking distance, super convenient.
This is a great little studio apartment. It was great to have all the conveniences - kitchen, laundry, proximity to my appointments at the Halifax Infirmary. The bed was comfortable and the place was extremely clean. I would definitely stay again!

Perfectly located.
Very bright and nicely appointed loft. It had everything we needed to make ourselves right at home. Perfect location. Close to the Commons, a grocery store and nice pubs/ restaurants near by; 10-15 min. walk. Down town and the water front a 25 minute walk.

Initial communication was very poor.
Kitchen was nice, counter plugs did not work. Bed was comfortable, was great to have in suite laundry. There was some loose moulding on the floor.
Key to get in did not work well. Location was good. Overall it was comfortable.

Great space/location, bad communication
The space was just as expected, had all amenities needed and a great location. The only problem was communication with the hosts. I was staying here during Hurricane Lee, which everyone knew was coming to the city that weekend and people were told to prepare. I got in Friday night and the power went out early in the morning on Saturday. There were no candles, there was a flashlight but the batteries were dead. I had to shower in the dark because the bathroom has no window. I messaged the hosts early that morning to tell them I needed candles or a flashlight and they told me they would take care of it. At 4pm no one had gotten back to me or dropped anything off so I messaged again. They told me they couldn't do it because everything was closed. This was not true, I was out with my daughter that afternoon and bought candles for her at a store 30 mins away from the location. I let them know where we had bought the candles and they said they would reach out the property manager with that info and get back to me. That was the last I heard from them. I had to go back out to the same store and get candles for myself. With an impending hurricane, it would have been nice to have the apt outfitted with things that we needed during a power outage, especially because this is a typical response to storms in Halifax. Also, communication would've been nice vs ignoring me.

Halifax summer trip
The apartment was centrally located with easy access to the city buses and a grocery store. There were also a number of places to eat. It was pretty quiet and easy do find. It was easy to stay in touch with the host if there were any questions and they were very responsive. A very positive experience.
