Beautiful

The view was beautiful! The only issue we had was neighboring properties using the dock and leaving it a mess but that wasnt the fault of the property manager. Exactly like pictures. Beautiful view! Peaceful! Planning our next stay already

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The hosts were amazing and kept in constant contact ensuring there were no issues! The house itself was beautiful with a lagoon view. It was toddler friendly and plenty of room for the 8 of us! It’s within walking distance to the beach as well. I’d recommend this host and this house!

We found the pictures of the rental were not current. The furniture was old and worn. The frig was old the kitchen was not well stocked. The guest bath shower would not stay closed. We had ants had to call agency. These are just some of our comments

Awesome location

Great spacious property. Easy check in. Awesome location close to beach, shops, restaurant. So much fun fishing from the end of the pier. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The house was clean and we had no issues with any of the furniture.

Would have given cleanliness a 5 but front bedroom on the right had vomit soaked into the mattress . You could smell it when you walked in , cleaning people should have taken mattress cover off . We had to , and had to clean the room

Great Location and views

We (6 of us) really enjoyed our stay. The home is 2 blocks from the beach, there is a bar/restaurant and small grocery around the corner. We loved being able to see both the sunrise and sunset at this time of year. The space in the home was ideal with a roomy, well stocked kitchen, and nice common areas for us to gather, talk and play games. We found that some of the furnishings were pretty worn and need replacing. The mattress in the bedroom closest to the kitchen had wires or coils near the surface making it tough to sleep on. We covered it with a quilt to lessen the effect. Overall, I would recommend this home.

Stars Align

We stayed at Stars Align for 5 nights, from February 10-February 15th. The moment we walked in the door, we both commented on how clean the house smelled. It was obvious that the cleaning crew had done its best to make the house clean and fresh for our stay. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO site. We were able to bring our little dog with us, and that was a plus. The house was comfortable and homey; we enjoyed the back deck overlooking the lagoon, and had brought a couple of fishing poles to cast off the dock (no luck catching anything, though!). Although we wish the weather would’ve cooperated a bit more for our stay, we still were able to take daily walks along the path on Lagoon Avenue, and also made the short walk to the gorgeous beach a couple of times. One suggestion I would make to the owner is to provide more flatware for eating; there were only 2 dinner forks provided, though there were several small, salad-size forks, and one or two teaspoons. Also, the sink in the bathroom in between the king bedroom and bunk bedroom was stopped up with hair and sand. We were able to pull out quite a bit of hair and plunge the sand out and got it in working condition after a day or two. Overall, the house was excellent and we enjoyed our short stay away from the dreary, cold weather at home. If we ever return to Gulf Shores, I would absolutely book this house again.

Decent Stay

Location, location, location! We enjoyed this rental because of the dock off the backside of the property. But I would say this place could use some updates… like new couches (stained, smelled and uncomfortable) & A NEW BED . The bed in the bedroom closest to the kitchen, that is attached to the kids room was AWFUL. Unsupported, barley stable, and most definitely UNCOMFORTABLE. It was lumpy, springy, and looked seriously shady as far as stability goes. And now the husband and I are sore and hurting, not looking forward to a day at the beach. Also one of the showers, the door doesn’t stay shut. And the other bathtub, the drain was so full of hair and yuck that it couldn’t drain the water out of the tub. It was clean, but not through. The pictures online do not show the amount of damage already done to the house, as far as walls, ceiling, the island and other places. OVERALL, decent place to stay but could have used a nice bed and better cleaning/maintenance. No issues with the rental property or the people. But a little disappointed with the state of the property for the PRICE of the property.
