Great Condo and great owner

My only issue is that the property was located on a public beach. A fight broke out, and the police had to be contacted. That was the downside. The upside was that the condo was beautiful and just as described, and the balcony was amazing. It was an excellent location for the Shrimp Festival (within walking distance), and there was a surf shop/market across the street and a Waffel House. There are great places to eat nearby, and a food truck vendor was also parked on the property near the beach. The pool and hot tub are also a close walk from the beach. Also, the beach had a nice chair rental service, and other rentals were available, such as jet ski, parasailing, and banana boat rides. Other than the beach fight, everything was excellent!

Beautiful view of the Gulf

Our grouped loved the condo. Sunrise and sunset views were amazing. The sitting was comfortable. Close to many restaurants. The beach was clean with powder like sand. The beds were comfortable. The balcony was so large and totally able to relax.

THE VIEW IS OFF THE CHART

We had the best visit. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. The only thing extra I could have asked for is a vacuum & a few extra days to enjoy the beautiful view!!! My family will most definitely be back. As far as the property as a whole, If you have elderly family members with you I would call ahead and see what the elevator situation is like. I also wish there were more parking for full-sized SUV & Trucks (you only have the ground level to park) floors 1-3 I did have to park on when the ground was full, and I did have a warning ticket on my window for being double-parked. When you are getting kids in and out of your cars, I would much rather have someone double parked than banging my door. The person who was working the security was not friendly.

Family trip review for summer 2024

The unit was a good size for our party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) and well decorated. The balcony was a good size with both bedrooms having access and a good view of the ocean/ beach. However, the bars at the turn of the balcony rattle so loud in high wind no one could sleep one morning of our stay. There are two elevators but one was down a lot of the time. The first day we had to walk up 11 flights of stairs because of the wait for the one working elevator. Heavy elevator usage was between 3-6pm daily with lines regularly out both doors into the parking garage. Very limited bath towels so we did laundry every day. The kitchen was sufficient except one of the two pans was unusable due to rust and there were only 4 glasses. The pool is next door at another building and only a small portion is available for outside use. Kids splash pad is small and very crowded. One of the property workers said “You just have to squeeze in if you can get in” and that’s an accurate description. Beach access is good. Be prepared for a line on the way back to rinse sand off. There are four hose/shower areas but each of our 5 days only two were usable because the hoses had holes in them. Check out was at 10am but maid service arrived at 9am. We verified with her that we weren’t to be out until 10 and she agreed but said she would wait at the door while we finished packing. That was a first for us which made us feel very rushed and uncomfortable. Lots of shops, a restaurant and beach activities close.
