Great Location, Spacious Place

Great place to stay with a family or small group of friends. Short walk from the beach and near the boardwalk. Only thing is for the longer stay folks - make sure you have all of the basic amenities for cleaning/laundry/kitchen/bathroom.

Great Stay!

We loved this house! We’ve stayed at many places in Ft Morgan and this is one of our favorites. The property was well kept, the manager was very responsive to our needs and the location was fantastic! Across the street, but easy boardwalk stroll straight to the beach. Highly recommend this house to anyone!

Excellent vacation

We were a family of 13. The space was exactly what we needed. The kitchen area was big enough that all of us could find a spot to eat and hangout together. It is a very short walk to the beach or pool. Definitely would stay again!

Great for large groups

This is a great property! It was perfect for our group of 11. The common area was the perfect size. We constantly had games and puzzles on the large dining table. It was only a short walk from the beach. Would definitely recommend this property.

Best house ever for big family!!!

They really understand the plight of a large family. The house met everyone’s needs for privacy as well as large and comfortable shared common space plus just a short walk to the pool and beach !!!

Spring Break Getaway

We loved our stay at Sea Daze! The house was amazing and the location was fantastic! The short walk to the beach was very convenient, couldn't ask for a better spot. The house manager was awesome! We had a question about the internet and it was taken care of immediately. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back!

October beach trip

We have stayed many times in Gulf Shores but this was our first time in Morgantown. The house was in a great location to the beach just steps away from boardwalk which was great with kids. I would stay here again and recommend to others. The only negative thing is I do feel like the house needs a major deep clean.

Spring Break 2024

We have been heading down to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan the last few years for a much needed spring break getaway and have enjoyed our stays each time. This year was a second year staying at Sea Daze and once again we had a great time. The house all all of your basic necessities, lots of rooms and space for a larger family, and a nice short walk to the beach. We will be back!

Excellent Trip

The house was perfect for our extended family vacation. We had 6 adults (3 couples) and 7 children under 6. The older kids loved the bunk bed room and there was plenty of room for the pack-n-plays for the littles in the master bedrooms. We loved the community pools and the access to the beach was very accessible. We brought 2 beach wagons to carry our stuff down the boardwalk and to and from the beach and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed being in Fort Morgan away from the big condos but were close enough to Gulf Shores to drive in for dinner. Overall a fantastic stay that we will all remember!

Great location

The property was a close walk to the water. It was spacious for our group of 13. The AC kept up with some very hot days. If you plan on flying in be prepare to stop at the store and get some essentials. 3 trash bags where provided for the entire week, one small square of hotel soap per bathroom, one TP per bathroom. 1 dishwasher pod. Also if you plan on grilling, it’s a charcoal grill/no charcoal provided. Overall it was a good house and it served its purpose, but for the price point they could have supplied a few more things.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house but if you like the temperature under 72-74 degrees this house is NOT for you. You can cut it down but they cut it back up virtually. The upstairs is miserable in the heat. The mattresses are hard as a brick. The back door needs to be leveled. It is so hard to open and close. The kitchen sink needs to be replaced. It is so hard to cut the water off because it is no longer tight.

Sea Daze

Nice house. Would have liked a few more kitchen items ~ shrimp pot, huge sturdy spatula. Description should mention house has standard coffee pot and a keurig. I will not stay again because of the distance to the beach….we need a beachfront home! Would be super convenient if we could walk through the houses to the beach. Not your fault, just a comment. We stayed at Fort Morgan because we thought we could keep up chairs/umbrellas all week. Not true at Morgantown ~ very inconvenient and very hard in the sand to bring back each day. The kitchen faucet needs repairing. One additional item: the thermostat was automatically set to turn up during the night. Not happy about that…thought it was a bit sneaky! All in all, we had a great week ~ the house worked well for our family. My gripes are only meant to help other renters.

Beach Vacation 2022

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family really enjoyed staying at Sea Daze. The proximity to the beach, pools, and tennis courts were ideal. We loved waking up to the beach view and eating meals on the shaded front porch. Linda, the property manager, was incredibly helpful. We had 14 people stay at the house. While the sleeping arrangements were great, use of the common areas was crowded with that many people. The biggest downfall of the house was no matter how hard we tried, we tracked in TONS of sand. We would rinse our feet below the house, but we would have to walk back through sand to get into the house no matter which door you entered. I swept the entire house at least 5 times and got a large amount of sand each time. I have stayed at multiple beach houses and never had a problem with sand like this. It would be helpful to pave the driveway, add gravel, or a path of rubber mats that lead to the stairs so guests don't have to walk through sand to get to the stairs from the foot washing station.

I imagine coming at a different time of year would make a difference, but we had an amazing time, despite the chilly weather and wind. The property manager was phenomenal and responsive, though we had no issues during our stay. She helped with suggestions for activities and checked in during the week. The house is way bigger than we expected. The layout is awesome. The proximity to the beach can't be beat. The neighborhood is friendly and beautiful. All our kids want to make this an annual tradition!
