Decent place. Ok stay but won’t return.

Old complex. Unit was much smaller than expected. No room in kitchen for groceries so have to use your counter space for them, making cooking challenging. No ceiling fans. Unit sleeps 8 but only 4 outdoor chairs on balcony. Patio sliding doors very hard to open and close. Living room furniture very stained, making first impression that the condo was dirty. We loved the uncrowded beach and pool. Enjoyed playing pickleball every night

303B Great Condo!

A+++ We thoroughly enjoyed 303B. We have had the pleasure of staying on this property, Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club many times. We highly recommend this property for all of its amenities, parking is plentiful, beach access is phenomenal, proximity to everything Gulf Shores is 20 minutes away. We see a large number of the same faces year after year. See you June 27th!

Love the area but not the unit

It’s a great area but the unit had some deficiencies: 1. Loud construction noise for several days 2. Kitchen is small and poorly designed, especially the cabinets 3. The tennis courts needed work which was done after we complained. The nets were still at pickle ball height instead of tennis height. 4. The floors were dirty 5. The coffee pot was difficult to operate. Needs instructions. 6. Could not get TV channels I wanted. No cable, only streaming thru Visio. Missed several ball games.

Girls at the beach

For the most part, everything was perfect. The location, the cleanliness, and the convenience. The unit is very well stocked, which helped so much. The two issues we had were a little bit frustrating and offputting. First of all, even though we had been given instructions on the proper way to take care of things, we did not have Wi-Fi. Every time we tried to hook up Alexa said she couldn’t. We finally called and were told to call the Wi-Fi company which we did. They said they could tell it was out and if they could send someone out for it. We were like no we are on vacation. Number one we shouldn’t have had to call service in number two. We sure shouldn’t have to sit there and wait for them to come over. He gave us the code for another unit and it did not work either so we had no Wi-Fi the entire time. The second thing is after a couple of days we had been out and came back in the afternoon and the code on our door wouldn’t work. We called and were told to call another number and she then called us back and she came right over to fix it. well there was something wrong with the batteries so she had to leave to go get more. That’s all understandable but the real frustrating part was that we needed to get inside to change clothes for a reservation we had that evening. So that really screwed up our plans. These are the kinds of things that shouldn’t have to happen when you’re on vacation. Bottom line is we feel like our situation should have warranted a little more consider

Great family vacation

We loved being so close to the beach and having a pool to still go to. The actual unit could use some renovation and updating. Still not a bad place for the amount of time we were there. Met all my family’s needs.

Great location

Loved that although it was windy when their we could enjoy the pool and patio as the building blocked most of the wind. Great location, close to everything but not in the busy district. Would consider changing the master bath to a elongated toilet. We did kill 3 cockroaches during our stay which I guess is normal for the type of building, overall would stay at the Surf and Racquet Club again.

Great location

We stayed the month of December. The pots and pans need to be replaced but I usually bring my own so it wasn’t a problem. I also bring a few rugs as the floors are cold this time of year. We love staying at GSSR and would book again.

I stayed there with my grandchldren and great grandchildren,. It was very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. Loved the view over the bay and the pool was great. It was very quiet at night no loud parties. Nice walk just right across the street to the beach. I would stay there again.

Great place with a lot to offer.. pool, lagoon, beach, fishing. Condo was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. Check in was simple.

Renting the property was easy and the people were great. However, the bbq pits are all busted up and need to be replaced. Security should be on staff at night to prevent people from parking in handicap parking spots while smoking dope. The fridge has some red liquid in it and absolutely no wifi. No Netflix.

Great location!

Loved that the condo was not next to all the hotels. Pool was great, beach was just across the street. Really it was just as close as some beach front properties we’ve stayed at. Got good use of tennis/pickle ball courts. Only mild hiccup was not getting correct wifi password for a couple days but they sent someone out to reset and were always responsive.

Another lovely experience!

This is a lovely location and a very accommodating facility, with some nice upgrades since last year. The elevators for our unit have been fixed, the tennis courts and boat docks repaired and looking very attractive. Area of concern for our rental unit was grit on the floor, toilets were stained and not cleaned. The balcony furniture had grease all over the table and chairs and needed a good wipe down. The plastic stackable chairs are unsightly and worn and should be discarded and replaced. The unit is overall clean and very attractive and beautiful. The furniture is very accommodating for our needs. We greatly appreciated the new washer/dryer that worked perfectly. All appliances are in excellent condition and work well. Everything we needed was there. We are return guest and so thankful for being to enjoy our stay again! We look forward to staying with you again and recommending this unit to our family and friends!

Room with a view

We overlooked the tennis courts, pool, and lagoon. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The only reason I gave the location 4 stars was because of our teenage daughter. She would have liked to have been in walking distance to a couple of things. The tennis courts are very well maintained. Beach is a quick walk across the street. Clean and well stocked. Nicely decorated for a beach feel.
