There were a few reasons why we were disappointed with our stay. First we didn’t like how the cabin was already unlocked with the key inside. A simple lockbox box with a code you can change for each guest has been our experience before with any other Vrbo or a keypad door. It helps you feel safer and someone could have already been there if they knew it’s kept unlocked. The bed was the cheapest bed I’ve ever slept on. I like quite a firm mattress and this was still way too hard it unfortunately seemed like the cheapest one you could get. The whole reason we booked was to get some quick rest before continuing our drive and we didn’t even get that unfortunately. It is also just a straight up shed but furnished, so it doesn’t hold heat well and was way smaller than the pictures looked. Lastly and most disappointing, the place was pretty dirty, for how tiny it was you’d think it would be clean cause it wouldn’t take long to do it. But unfortunately the sink was nasty and the tarp thing laying underneath where the mini fridge was had stuff splattered all over it. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned and in general it could’ve used a good once over.
