Family adventure

It was amazing. Loved the atmosphere and amenities. Also was impressed with the way the host was on top of a small maintenance problem and how quickly it was resolved We were vacationing there to attend our daughter's wedding.

Spacious & comfortable

7 of us, all adults, enjoyed our stay here. Two full bathrooms and plenty of beds. Nice full kitchen area with coffeemaker. Sectional sofa. 2 covered parking spaces. Convenient location to the wedding we were attending.

Very nice property. All good except that the pool was closed for the 2 days that we were there, and we were disappointed that there was not more soap/shampoo available in bathrooms (might put dispensers in the room?) Otherwise, a good experience!

Perfect for HS volleyball team!

The space was absolutely perfect for a HS girls volleyball team and coach. We could all sleep comfortably, prepare and eat in the kitchen/dining and watch movies together. It was relatively warm in July, but each room was provided with a fan to help the AC in such a big space.

This is a wonderful place to stay with a large group. Plenty of space, beds were comfortable. Nice size bathrooms. We all thought the castle was interesting and a fun place to stay.

Weekend Away

The property was not a high quality location. The furnishings were low quality, the mattresses had worn “spots” or indentations. Checking in was super difficult as we were not given the code to the outdoor apartment complex garage and that made it very hard to enter. Our arrival time was 11:30 pm so you certainly did not feel like dealing with that upon arrival. Overall this was comparable to a quality inn or days inn motel. Disappointed

An excellent weekend vacation

My family and myself came to the area for a musical in grand rapids and i think we all enjoyed the stay at least as much as the musical itself. This property comfortably slept my party of 14 without issues. My daughters still talk about how they "Got to stay in a castle". Full marks from me. I have already recommended this property to some friends and would recommend it to anyone else thinking about staying.

Christmas Getaway!

For Christmas we chipped in and got my parents a weekend away for eleven! The two of them with their descendants. We live in the area, and have always wanted to visit/tour the Castle. This was the perfect opportunity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One thing that would have been helpful would have been to know which floors different things are on. The exercise and weight rooms are on the third floor. So is the game area. The library is on the 8th floor. But we went for a long walk until we stumbled across them!

It was fun to say we stayed in a penthouse or castle but wasn't spectacular

When we first arrived, the directions had different pictures than what we actually had to do (different pictures of doors or lock systems), but we did find the penthouse. The laundry room was in disarray (clothes thrown about, dryer door wide open) which wasn't the best first impression. The beds are super comfortable and it was fun to say we were going to a 'penthouse' or 'castle' but we will not be returning. We also felt the 'fully stocked' kitchen wasn't as stocked as we wanted. I can't remember what was missing. A few things. Nice to do this once.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. A few items to note: Water is seeping up through the floorboards behind the long table on the wall with the windows. Frying pans need to be replaced. We missed having A/C in 2 of the bedrooms.

Fun place!

Our kids loved staying in the castle and the room was decorated with fun castle touches. It was very big with plenty of room for two families and the room itself was very clean. The pool was nice. The library/game room were a little tired and dated, but overall, it was a fun place to stay. Thanks for hosting us!

Girls trip

Everyone was surprised when I drove up and said this is where we are staying. They were so excited. Then I told them we are in the penthouse they were even more excited. Great place to stay, personal parking spot, close to the elevator, plenty of dishes, and beds. The views are enjoyable and very quiet.

Great stay!

Our kids were so impressed with the idea of staying in a castle!! The wow factor was definitely worth it. It was a little difficult to find our way around the complex, but only when we were looking for the library, game room, etc. The directions provided for parking and getting to the room were perfect. It was a little warm in a couple of the bedrooms, but the hosts seemed to have anticipated this. There were several standing fans in the closets. We made use of these and were just fine.

Love the penthouse, needed to work on cleanliness

We rented this penthouse for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect spot!! However, upon arriving we did find that one of the beds was not cleaned and multiple beds didn’t have sheets on them. Other than that, we enjoyed our time!
