Excellent location!

Excellent location with incredible views. Easily walkable to MANY of Ghent's historical locations as well as restaurants and cafes (and beer if you like). Shopping for anything was also easy access. Had a wonderful time and hope to return someday. Would definitely choose this location again

Great location, beautiful terrace overlooking Ghent

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Showers were a bit of a challenge but nothing to complain about.

The apartment is wonderful. The rooftop balcony was the highlight - many days we had coffee there in the morning and dinner or a drink there in the afternoon. Great location, walking distance to everything. AC works great, beds are comfortable, enough room for the kids and adults to have their own space. We already miss it

Disaster in Ghent

After finally finding the unmarked entry, we found the glass outer door was unlocked. The foyer was dingy and the fioor dirty and stained. The real shock was to find the appartment door wide open with the lock in a locked position and no key!! So the door could not be closed never mind locked. We called the emercency number twice with no answer or voice mail! This is completly unacceptable from a personal safety and security perspective when the owner does not respond to his own emergency number. On entering the appartment, which was clean, we were amazed to find that the second bedroom and terrace are not on the fourth floor as claimed - but up stairs which are steep and narrow!(my wife has limited mobility) There is one bathroom with a seperate toilet on the main floor - however nothing upstairs. The main bedroom is dominated by a roof joist which means that the double bed is only accessable from one side. The famous clock was not working!! The advertisment on your site does not reflect the actual physical configuration of the property. When the problem of the lack of personal secruity was conveyed to the owner, the reply that this situation was easy to solve - but no instructions on when or how! These issues made it impossible for us to stay. We request a full refund and will seek legal advice if this is not forthcoming.

Beautiful apartment in the center of Ghent

Anthony was great to deal with. He was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed for our stay. Finding the apartment was challenging since I couldn’t open up the link to the image he had sent via the vrbo app but figured it out in my email in google. The flat was perfect for our family of 4 to explore Ghent and surrounding cities in Belgium. The tram is just a short 2 min walk away that will take you to the Ghent st. Pieters station. Lots of great restaurants and bar nearby (although some were closed during the period we were there NYE and New Year’s Day) definitely try Frite Atelier and Otomat Pizza! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ghent!

Great location with balcony overlooking town square

If you’re visiting Ghent - this is a great apartment to make your base. Easily walk to everywhere! Castle- check, canals-check, restaurant and nightlife-check. Easy entrance and feel safe the whole time. Everything you need to be comfortable was provided.

Ghent visit

Well appointed flat in the perfect location for our Ghent and Bruges holiday! The property is ideally located for exploring Ghent and is only a short stroll away from major points of interest ( Gravensteen, cathedral, etc), restaurants, pubs, shops, and the tram for the train station. Super comfy beds, beautiful view from rooftop deck, and the lift was an important plus for my husband’s 87 year old mother. Street noise was minimal as well. I highly recommend this property and hope to have the opportunity to visit again!

Wonderful property!

Exceeded expectations and really lovely. Amazingly quiet, considering that it's RIGHT in the middle of the busy pedestrian zone. Easy check in. Beds and pull-out couch were comfortable. Super clean and secure. Shower is quite awkward, but that seems to be the norm in Europe. Thank you!

Amazing homebase for exploring Ghent!

What a delightful place to stay in Ghent - wonderful views, plenty of space, right in the middle of the action. Just a few steps to food and shops, and a brief walk to tram stops and major sites. Lovely and communicative owner. We had an incredible time and enjoyed experiencing the last day of the Ghent Festival!

Great location

Great location and wonderful outside roof deck. Place was clean and well kept. Advertisement for the flat was a bit off. Only one toilet and no real shower, just a tub with a hand wand. Not easy with 5 adults.

Lovely property in perfect location

Steps away from the best Gent has to offer.

What a great location!!! Also a fantastic view of churches and a castle while out on your own private balcony. It was a great place to get away from the busyness without going far. It is a little loud with all the hustle and bustle because your by everything. Elevator was a little scary (I don't like them in general). We loved our stay!!
