We really enjoyed our stay here as a family and would stay here again. The self check-in and out was very easy. The host company Huswell was very responsive prior to checking in (the only downside -repeated chasing for the second payment despite it being many weeks before it was due, contradicting the VRBO listing itself). The flat is situated in a very convenient location to explore Ghent and is competitively priced. The area is also very quiet during the day and at night and we were never disturbed by the noise of neighbours either (just the church bells at 6.50!). The modern open plan living/dining area is very spacious and comfortable with lovely high ceilings. There is a large balcony off this area which we did not use as we stayed in December. The kitchen was well stocked with a very large dining table. The heating worked well. Things to consider which did not bother us: the flat is on the second floor so largish set of stairs to get to the flat, steep and narrow stairs up to the bedrooms, only one bathroom which is downstairs. There is no access/street parking directly outside the flat but a very close distance around the corner.
