This was probably the best VRBO I have stayed in… ever. Perfect location- clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if visiting agent!

Looking out the window to the left. That intersection you see is a major shopping area. Ketchup is cute and serves “frites” with various dipping sauces… including Ketchup
This is the view going over the bridge just outside of the apartment. What a gorgeous city!

Alojamiento con todo lo necesario para pasar una gran estadía en Gante, cercano a los lugares de interés, con restaurantes, supermercados, tiendas comerciales, todo a pocos pasos de distancia, y lo mismo con el transporte público. Totalmente recomendable, y Anthony siempre a disposición para responder rapidamente a todas las preguntas.

In the Heart of the City

Great spot to stay in Ghent; you are smack-dab in the middle of everything! Just 50 feet from the canal, 2 blocks from the belfry and church, 2 blocks from rail/bus stop, patisseries, restaurants, pubs, shops, and markets everywhere around you. The flat is very small, so if you bring more than two people, make sure you like them VERY much, as they will be sleeping about 8 feet above your head! The little kitchen area has all you need, along with some coffee pods. The windows look right down on to the vibrant street scene, which is both good and bad: great for "feeling" the city and people-watching, bad for sleeping if you need quiet - it's a busy area, and people are out very late! The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were thin - which seems to be the case in Europe. The new windows provide nice ventilation, and there is also a heating/cooling unit in the room that can double as a white-noise machine to help with street noise if you need it. A couple things you should note: you will have to climb three flights of steps to get in, so make sure you're okay with that and hauling your luggage up the narrow staircase. You also should not be too shy, as the bathroom has no curtains/drapes. There are some patches of opaque material on the windows, but essentially the people across the street can watch you shower and use the bathroom if they want; we showered in the dark to lessen our "exposure" :) And remember: parking really sucks in Gent, so use public transit!

Lovely modern and spacious for a studio. Well laid out and great location. Only thing to make it better would have been a little bit of coffee or tea for guests as there was a coffee machine. Plenty of great cafes nearby though. Very responsive host and very comfy beds

Great location; great property!

The location is perfect if you want to be in Central Ghent. The apartment is very cute and very clean, with a provided fan/swamp cooler unit making all the difference for being comfortable for sleeping at night. (A rare find in European vrbo travel!!) Our daughter loved having the loft to herself, and the ceiling high windows were beautiful and great for ventilation. Our host was very communicative and even shared recommendations, which were all spot on. There was some street noise, and I'd suggest bringing a sleep mask if street light would bother you at night, but that's a small price to pay for the location. (You're on the second level.) Lots of easy access to great food and just a block from the river. This was probably our favorite vrbo over 2 weeks of travel in Belgium and France, and it's a great value, too. I highly recommend!

Wow! Grandiose Unterkunft im Herzen von Gent

Hervorragender, sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, schneller Check-in und eine wunderschöne, helle und sehr saubere Wohnung mitten in dieser tollen, wirklich sehenswerten City. Was will man mehr? Wir haben die Zeit absolut genossen, die Betten sind traumhaft bequem und wir haben alles Wichtige vorgefunden, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Durch die phantastische Lage (100% zentral und zum Parkhaus sind es nur 200m) und die geräumige Aufteilung der Wohnung, würde ich diese Unterkunft auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt empfehlen. Lediglich der Hausflur könnte ein wenig mehr Licht vertragen - nahezu unbeleuchtete, dunkle Stufen und Treppenwangen machen den Auf-und Abstieg etwas holprig. Aber das ist nur "Jammern auf allerhöchstem Niveau" 😁👍 Wir (Mama, Oma und Kinder im Alter von 9 und 11) kommen bestimmt wieder 🙂
