We had a wonderful stay at the Scandic. The location was excellent, with the train station just across the road and the old town only a 10–15 minute walk away. The hotel had a lovely reception area which was welcoming, and our room was spotless. Cleaning was available on request, which suited us well. The only downsides were that the shower screen was quite short, which meant water tended to spill onto the floor, and the fridge wasn’t very cold. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Breakfast was served as a buffet with a wide selection of both hot and cold options. We chose to have it at the hotel on two mornings at a cost of 80 PLN, and it was very enjoyable. Overall, the Scandic is a great hotel in a convenient location, and I would happily stay here again.

Not quite a 4 star hotel. Very dated materials in the room on the floor my room was on. It appears some rooms may be updated others are not. The photos are deceiving. Price for breakfast is quite high for the location. Overall stay was ok, location is good being across from the main train station.

Perfect location for a short stopover whilst in transit (arrived by train one day, left by ferry the next). The hotel is directly opposite the main railway station, Gdańsk Główny. Everything super clean, modern and well maintained. The immediate area is not great for eating out (other than fast food) and the menu of the hotel restaurant (Senso) was not particularly appealing. Breakfast, on the other hand, was outstanding. The start of the Old Town is about 10 minutes’ walk away.
