A mis hijos les encantó Skinny-Dippin!

Mis hijos estuvieron contentos, sobre todo porque está cerca de los lugares de diversión del lugar, salimos a divertirnos a los alrededores y de regreso seguía la diversión y después a descansar tranquilamente, nos encantó esperamos regresar pronto, les recomiendo Skinny-Dippin!

Wonderful house!

House was spotless on arrival. Pool and hot tub were ready to use right away. Beautiful views! Comfortable space to hang out at night as a family. Close to Gatlinburg and National Park. We had a couple unavoidable minor issues - battery in a smoke detector we couldn’t reach died, and septic issue, but they were both handled extremely quickly and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful.

Lovely Cabin

The cabin was lovely. The pool and the pool room were warm and a huge hit with the kids. The location was great- beautiful view and very close to Gatlinburg. I will say that we found the mattresses hard, there were no pool towels, and only exactly 8 bath towels. It also would have been nice to have hooks in the pool room and a lift assist thing for the hot tub. The cabin was however clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was a little sparsely equipped, but we made it work! Used the gas grill and it worked great too. All and all the property was great and would 100% rent again!

Great place

We loved this home. Clean heated pool, great hot tub. Very responsive to all our needs and took care of 1 issue asap. Beautiful sunrise and views. Lots of birds we really loved staying here and would return given the opportunity too. We just loved hanging out and connecting as a family

Great place

We had a wonderful short visit at your getaway. Kids loved having all the amenities, such as pool, hot tub, air hockey, etc. The only small item was that the kitchen has utensils, plates, glasses (no plastic glasses), some pots and pans but no serving dishes (like bowls for serving vegetables, etc.). Not a big deal we made things work and it was so lovely to be there with our family. The driveway is a dousy!!!

Disappointed and host lied

We picked this place for the indoor heated pool..when we arrived the kids went straight to the pool where it was 62 degrees. Messaged hist who said they had just added water and it would be up to temp in a few hours..next day still cold. Messaged host again..3 days later the temp got up to 70..still not swimmable. Property sits on a very steep hill..only room for 2 cars. The hand rail on the outside porch was half off (not screwed on). Bedrooms were nice..however the blinds do not pull down all the way and leave several inches open..even in thr bathrooms...thank god we were on the top of a mountain. After qe checked out the host OFFERED a refund....and then just disappeared... no refund...no further communication

Scenic views for a wonderful stay

The accommodations were wonderful! Breathtaking views and so many amenities! Indoor pool, hot tub, air hockey table, fooseball table and the arcade games brought us back to our childhood! The towels were so decoratively folded and everything was immaculate. We will definitely come back with the family! The place was HUGE with something for everyone. Thank you so much!

Our family of 5 had a good experience at the property. We had a couple of hiccups when we first arrived but they were promptly addressed. The beds weren't very comfy, a lot of trash on the property, and the pool was a little cramped. Overall a decent stay.

Girls Trip

We loved the house. It wasn't as clean as I expected though. The floors were dirty. We didn't use the pool or hot tub. We had Stinkbugs infestation. We could not sit in the living room without them flying around, landing on us & crawling up the walls, windows, etc. It would have been nice to know that the house was on top of the mountain & how extremely curvy the road was & how steep the driveway is. Also how small the parking area was. We had barely enough room to park my Expedition & a small Kia SUV. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I won't book it again.

Mountain vaca

Dealt with cobwebs in every corner....not little ones....these had been there awhile. Light in one of the bedrooms flashed constantly and ceiling fan was loud and couldn't be used. Water damage in one bedroom (which was reported on a previous review) still hasn't been fixed. Blinds in bedrooms and bathrooms don't come to the bottom of the window, so the feeling of privacy isn't there (some about 12 inches short). Pool was clean but the sitting area inside the pool area was quite dirty - - enough that I cleaned it myself...even had chewed gum stuck to the ground. Overall, if the cleaning people did their job, this wouldn't be bad. Would I return, no.

Family trip

The house was big and accommodating to our family of 8. 6 adults and 2 teens and all had our own space. We were unable to use the hot tub as it was cool water. The pool hadn’t been cleaned and found fake eyelashes and a dirty towel in the pool area. The kitchen was usable and grilled out one evening. We were disappointed that we were unable to sit outside due to the strong sewage smell anytime the shower was being used. Good communication with owner, very responsive. Parking - don’t take more than 3 cars! Beautiful location though and we saw quite a few bears in the road and around the property! Keep the gate closed on the porch as we had a bear right next to us without hearing him come up the stairs! The game room was really nice and we enjoyed time there when at the house. Overall it was a nice location and our family had a great time, just a few things we wished were different.

Not a heated pool (very cold)

I choose this property for our 8 day vacation only because it said it had a heated pool. I have two children ages 9 and 6. The pool was warm for the first day. After that it was freezing the rest of our stay. It was so cold that no one could swim in it. I contacted the host and they sent someone out several times to “fix the problem” and it never got fixed and any warmer. They never fixed anything. There are several more reviews on Vrbo and in the welcome book at the property that state their vacation was ruined and kids were very disappointed when the same thing happened to them. pool is very cold with no heat many stated. The pool was the only reason we rented this property and The kids were sad every day we stayed there. Making it a huge point of disappointment every day they could not swim. They would ask every day, Did they come fix the pool and the sender was no they didn’t and the water never got any warmer. Also the hot tub smelled like mold horribly we went in it twice and both times we were overwhelmed by the bad smell and immediately had to shower upon exit of the hot tub. Also the shades in The bedrooms were shorter than the window. They did not even cover the whole window so as soon as the sun comes up, it is blasting you in the face, also no screens on the windows, no extra blankets. We are very disappointed with this rental! Total waste of money with all the fun and exciting places to stay in the area this is not one of them. This property is a scam!! Beware!!!

Lacking in hospitality & follow up.

We were thankful when we got up the mountain & up the very steep driveway! When we checked in we realized we were missing pillowcases & that there was a huge leak & moldy patch on the ceiling of one of the rooms we had planed to use. We closed the door & tried to contact the owner. Of course we were met with an automated response & ended up putting clothes on the pillows for the night & making 2 of our kids share a bed. We finally were able to get through to the owner the next day via text. It was met with an “oh snap! I’ll send someone out.” No apology ever. Someone did come out. Note- that driveway is one way. We were blocked in once they came to fix the roof. Thankfully we were able to leave when he left & he came back to work while we were gone. The mold however remained- hopefully he’ll have it properly remediated because it was seriously bad. We left with colds, dry scratchy throats & I can’t help but wonder if that was a factor. The house overall is nice- the kitchen has most everything you’d need to make a simple meal. Having the pool was a huge plus since we had so many rainy days! The kids loved that. The hot tub was nice too, but difficult to access & because it’s not covered we weren’t able to use it much due to the rain! This experience has definitely altered our future plans for how our family will vacation. Not having received any sort of apology for the major inconvenience of not having an entire room we paid for is very off putting.

1st time to Smokies with family and friends!

Very modern and nice place! When we arrived the pool was cold, notified the owner they fixed it the next day. Our kids were bummed it was still to cold to use it the whole time we were there. We had picked this place because of the pool. Asked if they had a crock pot, he said yes, there wasn't one. Need more essentials for your stay bring extra soap, towels garbage bags wash clothes also no hot pads. Why have an oven with no hot pads?? Need steps to get to hot tub and better lighting. Need new chairs on front deck all breaking. Game area was great kids loved it! Tv was broke in living room, they fixed it the next day. Drive way is very steep and could have better landscaping outside.
