Worse than Terrible. Stay away from this host listings and save your money.
Our recent stay(July 4-6) at this cabin was a complete disappointment and a nightmare from the moment we arrived.
Upon entering the cabin at midnight, we were shocked to find it in a filthy state. There were spider webs in the room corners, dead insects scattered across the floor, and live insects crawling around. The bed covers were dusty, triggering a severe dust allergy reaction in my wife.
Despite attempting to contact the host for assistance, there was no response. Unable to stay in such unsanitary conditions, we reluctantly booked a hotel room for the night. In the morning, we finally reached the host who responded rudely and dismissively, suggesting that such conditions were normal for countryside cabins. When questioned about the cleanliness and previous reviews, the host became defensive and made inappropriate remarks (using abusive language).
We discovered similar complaints in past Vrbo listings for the same cabin. We had hoped these issues would have been resolved, but clearly, they persist.
Our frustration extended to Vrbo customer care, whose response was equally disappointing. Instead of addressing our legitimate concerns about cleanliness and health hazards, they minimized issues and blamed us for checking in late, suggesting host could have cleaned the cabin if we had arrived at the "proper" time and not refunded.
After hours of futile discussions with them until 3 AM, chose to book another hotel room at half the cost we paid for two days at the cabin
