Stayed here with my daughter for one of her cheer competitions. This was a great spot and we did not have to walk to far to get the the convention center. The place was clean and the hotel staff were very welcoming and nice. I would stay here again for sure and the views were amazing with the river running right in front of the hotel.

At check-in there was a sign that said the pool was closed- when I asked when it would reopen, they said “I don’t know.” Which is fine, if you truly don’t know; but it’s not really an acceptable answer and seemed careless for someone who was paying for a stay and one of the reasons booked was for the pool/hot tub. They advertise on site parking, but don’t mention until after you book it’s an extra charge per day. Housekeeping starts around 10, but they didn’t come to the room until after 4 the one day that they came- I had already made the bed and requested towels. Internet went down the last day, and I called down, but the maintenance man seemed annoyed and had a comment for everything I said. When I mentioned the Netflix wasn’t working, he said they discourage people from using the service and it was more of a headache to use it. I hate to be so annoyed by everything that happened, but it seemed like every interaction I had with anyone who worked there was a bother from start to finish. A good location, but not the best experience for someone who just wanted to get away for a few days.

One negative thing is the TV in the room. It is a smart tv but they don’t give you the remote control for the smart TV. You have a generic remote and when we shut our TV off it would default back to the smart tv homepage and we couldn’t watch it. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance up to select live tv so we could watch it but we didn’t call after the first time. We just went without it instead of calling maintenance every time.

Front desk Desk ladies were funny. The place was very warm. Had a nice view and close to the nightlife. Only disappointment at all is that we got charged for parking, but it said parking was included when we booked online.
