Beautiful home

We loved our stay. The property was really nice and spacious with more than enough room for everyone. We loved the game room! Check in was easy. Like others have mentioned, the driveway is a doozy- even with 4 wheel drive, the first switch back is pretty intimidating. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Gatlinburg Getaway

First and foremost, I would like to say that Joe (host) has been one of the best communicators I've come across on this app. Answered many of my questions before and after our booking. The cabin was extremely clean and close to everything. There's a small convenient store/market at the bottom of the hill. The kids and adults enjoyed every bit of it. I will mention that the hill going up to the cabin was pretty steep, and could be intimating for those that do not have 4-wheeel drive, but not bad once you get used to it.

Had Everything We Needed

We stayed two nights and had a good time. Everything we needed was available and well marked. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and TVs in every room. When we needed something (dishes, utensils) in the kitchen, it was there. The hot tubs were fun. One of the king beds (upstairs) was a little stiff, but the one we used was fine, and the kids didn’t complain about the one upstairs. If we had decided not to go out at all, we would not have been bored at the cabin. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and amenities. Caution: Those other reviewers aren’t joking about the driveway. We were in our front wheel drive Toyota Sienna minivan, and there was some scooting on the first day in the misting rain. The hard part is making the turn on the incline. To whomever is driving, I’m just saying, Be careful.

Spring Break with grandkids

The cabin is okay as long as you don’t mind having the main living area at the top of a long flight of stairs after you enter. One bedroom and the game room are on the first floor. The description of the property did not indicate the main area is on the second level. As mentioned in the description be advised that the driveway is absolutely as described. We had to use 4-wheel drive to make it to the top. The cabin has some deferred maintenance but overall it’s acceptable. There is no starter amounts of coffee, sugar, etc., so be sure to bring some with you. The photos of the property need to be updated since there is obviously deferred maintenance on the hot tub areas and the bathrooms.

Gatlinburg March 27 2025

Cabin is nice and cozy, we really enjoyed our stay. Five adults and four children in our group and we were comfortable. Plenty of room and very clean. Driveway is tricky with a sharp turn back and when there are guests at the next door cabin it’s a bit tricky to back out. We would definitely stay there again.

Driveway is a doozy

Excellent cabin, everything was exactly as described. Checking in was a breeze, everything was clean, cozy and nice, there's a grill by the driveway which was nice and I don't remember if it was mentioned. The outlet covers are a bit thick so big box phone chargers may not fit. The only minor inconvenience I would say is that steep and narrow driveway makes it so trucks barely fit and cars without AWD skidded up the hill, be wary of the traffic coming out as well as there is a blind corner,

Perfect stay for a family/group of friends. Plenty of things to do in the cabin- air hockey, hot tubs, games, and pool table. Great views overlooking the strip. Cabin was very clean and well managed. The driveway is steep so I would beware if the forecast has snow/ice but it is doable.

Comfortable retreat

Comfortable, homey rental. Detailed instructions/guidelines throughout home/app. Joe is quickly responsive and helpful. Location is close to the city but positioned such that you can avoid the traffic to get to the park or other areas.

Fall break 2024

My family spent three nights here during our fall break. The location was great - close enough to downtown Gatlinburg and the National Park, without the traffic and crowds. The weather was perfect for our stay, so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabin, but had it been rainy, there was plenty to keep us occupied - games, relaxing on the covered deck, using the hot tubs, etc. The driveway was tricky. We couldn’t get up without scraping my trailer hitch (no damage). I think we would have been fine without the hitch. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Awesome stay, but the driveway

Our stay was great. We loved the game room and having our own private hot tub was so relaxing. The house was very clean and very nice on the inside. We did have a bear get inside our car, so please make sure you lock your doors. The only issue we had was the driveway. The first driveway wasn’t to bad but the drive to the house was soooo steep. We got our van stuck and had to call a tow service to come help us. Other than that a wonderful stay, plus the host answered every question and called to check on us when our car got stuck. Thanks.

We went to just get away and be together and this home exceeds it. It has so many kitchen things and thought of everything, didnt need to buy anything else. Towels for hot tub was provided. Great Stay

My family and I haven't been on a vacation together in 3 years. I found this property on VRBO and rented it for the weekend. We enjoyed ourselves and the cabin was exactly what we needed. Everything was exactly as described and even better than expected.

Mountainside paradise

Other than the tricky driveway, every part of our stay was wonderful. Cabin is nicely stocked, close to the ski mountain market for anything needed. Bears passed through several days, never bothering us. Check in was a breeze, bedding clean and comfortable. Kids had plenty to do within the cabin. Wonderful stay. This was our second time staying and will continue to return.

Family vacation. Kids ages 16,18,20,22

We thought the cabin was perfectly located between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. It was nice that each of our kids had their own bed to sleep in (family of 5 plus a friend). The kitchen was well stocked with ample dishes/pots/pans for us to prepare a hot breakfast and dinner each night. My husband and I liked the private hot tub off the basement bedroom that we had claimed as ours for the week. The kids enjoyed the second one. The hosts responded quickly and the check in/check-out process was easy.
