Quick Easter Weekend Getaway

The property was perfect for our family! It was such a quick walk to the beach that I was able to take multiple beach walks between short rain showers. It was also close enough that we walked to grab pizza for the kids. The host was super communicative and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

Dunes Getaway

This property was perfect for our needs. We were walking distance to the lake. We were close to both the national and state Dunes parks. The electronics were great as was the kitchen. There was a fenced in back yard for our dog.

Good spot

Great spot to get away while not really being too far from anything. Tom is great and very helpful with info about anything you need to know nearby. Very close to beach and very easy to get to and from beach areas. House is nice and spacious and listing is accurate.

Clean House, Easy Beach Access

Stayed for a week with my kids and dog. Enjoyed the easy access to beach, property manager was easily accessible, very comfortable beds! Great crosswind when bedroom windows were open. Thanks for the stay!

Miller Beach Getaway

This house was perfect for my adult children, their significant others and me and my boyfriend. Room to gather in the comfy living room or on the outside deck. We loved the location one block from the lake and Walking distance to a couple restaurants. Will definitely book another stay here.

Birthday vacation !

Our stay was absolutely amazing . House was very clean and provided everything we needed . Communication with the property owner was fabulous! He communicated with us every step of the way . The location was great as well with only being a block away from a private beach . My family really enjoyed their selves and made great memories on this trip . I highly recommend this house and location if your looking for a nice and peaceful little get away .

We would stay again

Nice location to base a visit to Indiana Dunes National Park. Plenty of room for our 3-person family get-together and a short walk to the beachfront. Appreciated the fenced yard for the dog. We had a car issue and found a friendly neighbor who loaned us what we needed to solve the problem!

Wonderful cozy home near the shore

We wanted a quick 3 day getaway for fall break and decided to rent a home instead of a hotel. This house was perfect. Tom our host met us there and walked us through the property. Although a little older the wood floors, cozy environment and bedrooms were charming. The house has smart tvs so it was no problem linking into our favorite streaming apps to watch a movie. The fireplace outside was perfect for the crisp look October evenings and Tom made sure we were fully stocked with firewood. One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in. Super clean, comfy and the beds were perfect. Would stay here again for sure!

Exactly what we wanted!

I wanted a place to stay while visiting both Indiana Dunes National Park and Chicago. This was the perfect place. Driving to both the state park and national park was very easy as both were very close. We were able to spend several days hiking. Then we used the South Shore Line to go into Chicago to do some sightseeing and visit museums. The place was clean, cozy, with all the amenities that were promised.

Great stay at the beach.

We booked the house for a trip to visit family and it was perfect for the 4 of us and 3 medium/small dogs. The house was clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. There is no washer or dryer but there are a few laundromats nearby. We went to Sunny Days in Willowcreek Plaza in Portage. Clean and well-managed with plenty of machines. Tom met us upon our arrival to give us a tour and answer any questions we may have had. He was great. Very friendly and quick to respond to any texts we sent. The house is in a great location as it is within walking distance from the beach and Flamingo Pizza of Miller. The neighborhood itself was great for walking our dogs. We went in the offseason so there was barely any traffic. All in all, we were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to visiting again.

Perfect Everything!

We had such a great stay in this home. TV in every room, clean, fenced in yard for our dogs. Owner met us at check in and was so kind and communicated thoroughly. We will hopefully be coming back every year!

Loved our stay!!!

Great Home Base for Exploring the Dunes

The house is conveniently located about a block from the beach as well a few blocks from Marquette park and a few miles from the national park. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and we took advantage of the fire pit and s'mores kit. The house had sufficient space for our family and enough cooking accessories to easily facilitate making meals. The main drawback was road noise, especially at night when trying to sleep or eating outside. No washer/dryer probably limits the duration of stay as well. Overall, would stay here again. Good communication with host.

multi-generation beach getaway

For several months we'd looked forward to this chance to spend some quality time with one of our grown sons and his wife and just-turning-one daughter. Logistics of getting three generations from multiple locations together can be complicated. Luckily for us, nearly everything worked out well. The rental property was a good fit for us--very near a beach, not far from several sections of Indiana Dunes National Park, relatively easy to child-proof, within walking distance of small shops and restaurants, neither too fancy nor too plain. Could have done without the extra layer of bureaucracy provided by Evolve, but liked the owner/hosts. Would recommend the place to others.

An Excellent Family Getaway

This was a great place to stay for our family of 7 over the holiday. It was cozy and perfect for us and the host was incredible. Would recommend if you are needing a few days with family and friends.

Cute home!

Overall, it was the perfect spot for what we needed. Some small annoyances were the decor that was breakable and eye level for a child, if you are setting the place up and you know there are child/ren coming, maybe put them up higher or away? Also, there were spider webs everything. It seemed clean for the most part but some really gross webs in some bad spots. I appreciated being able to communicate with the property manager, Tom - but he was a bit over the top with communication. A text goes a long way these days. Maybe ask the renter how they would like communication to go? Again - cute little spot and perfect for what we needed.

Great get away

Host was very helpful from initial questions on line, during our stay & departure. Home is immaculate, great beds, linen & kitchen utensils. We brought in food & bathroom needs. Easy one block walk to beach (our Midwest ocean.) Granddaughters loved the bunk beds & we left totally relaxed. Seven min. drive to train station for day in to Chicago. Easy access on Highway 12 to all Dune beaches & parks. Overall-excellent!

Couldn’t Have Had A Better Time!!

This was the first time my family and I have ever done anything like this and we honestly didn’t like what to expect. Tom, our host meet us at the property and walked us through everything which was great! He really made our stay a lot easier and more enjoyable with the local recommendations. It was very clean and cozy! We brought our 6 kids and everyone was comfortable and happy. The beds were comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We actually plan to come back during the summer and hit the beach!!

Perfect for what we needed

Our stay at the Miller Beach house was great. It was an easy walk to get to the beach, great jumping point to get to the national park, and exactly what we needed. The 2 dogs enjoyed running in the fenced yard, we enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, and sharing meals around the table. Would recommend and visit again in the future.
