don't stay here

for $500 us a night, this place was terrible. the toilet didn't flush, had to have someone come up and you had to pump the handle like some old well on a farm; the shower didn't drain and water went all over the floor; coffee maker didn't work and only decaf in the room; the bathroom was poorly lit and you could barely see, plus it was very small with no space to put anything. location not great, you're right by the bus station and a bit of a walk to central area

Terrific stay. The front desk distributed a list of recommended places to go which was incredibly well curated. Everyone was helpful. There is a filtered water dispenser which eliminates the need for plastic bottles. The whole thing was just wonderful.

It had a beautiful lobby and view of the river from the patio. The parking garage was horrible. The traffic lanes and parking spaces were extremely narrow. The staff was not friendly. The restaurant had a very limited menu and was very expensive. The hotel was extremely expensive. each time we flush the toilet, it sounded like a Viking horn blowing for 15 minutes. The shower curtain did not reach the floor and flooded the entire bathroom every time we took a shower. The bathroom was a very poor design. If someone was standing at the bathroom sink, you could not open the door. We woke up in the morning to a very cold room. we tried to use the thermostat to raise the temperature, but it only made it colder. only one of the two elevators was operable, which made for a very long wait times. Our view from our room was of a deserted lot where a building had been knocked down, and there was a huge pile of rubble, with some homeless people camped out there.

Uncomfortable. The room was hot and the AC was ineffective. The fridge would not cool anything. Called the front desk and asked for assistance, but these issues were not resolved. I was looking forward to staying here too.

The hotel was very lovely and in a great location to the city. The bartenders were a lot of fun and the front desk employees were helpful. The downsides were for the money we paid they should have bought our luggage to and from our rooms. They dropped off a luggage cart but didn't offer to bring it down. Also, the homeless on the corner from the hotel was a bit frightening. They didn't bother us but just wasn't what we were expecting for the money we paid.

This hotel was conveniently located in Galway, with easy walking access to everything the town has to offer. It's not in the main shopping/dining area, so it's a bit quieter, but it's still easy to walk to from the train station. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the staff were accommodating.

I bought an Exec Floor for an extra $150-$200 a nite. Only benefit was highest floor so noise was less. The views for 1/2 on floor aren't worth anything and no furniture on porches. Also no Exec lounge for food/drinks.,Really disappointed for $500+ a nite. Take lower floor for a lot less and maybe get a water view.
