No cups in room. Criticized by staff why I waited to report this at check out. Didn't tell staff we used our water bottles instead. Toilet handle had to be wiggled to stop the water. Had to be happening when staff last cleaned the room. Outside cover fell of room A/C unit in the evening. Evidently no one in staff makes any kind of rounds or responds to issues in plan view. Remodel paint job very poor. Cancelling second reservation for Jan 2026.

For the price, we got what we paid for. We were very pleased with the overall condition of the room. Breakfast is what you would expect. I would recommend Wingate and will stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Not worth the money.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was disgusting. When getting into bed we found someone else’s belongings as the sheets hadn’t been changed. We paid for a king suite and it was absolutely gross. The vents/outlets look like they’ve never been cleaned and the shampoo/conditioner bottles were left empty.

Continously had problems with the reader on the door unlocking so that i could get into the room. It got progressively worse over the next several days. The paint was peeling from the ceiling and the walls. Mirror in the bathroom was broken. Rust on the metallic lamps and one even had a dented and broken lamp shade. Whey they moved us to another room because of the issue with the door, the toilet overflowed.

The front clerk/Manager/Owner was by far the most rude person I have ever encountered in any environment. The property is in shambles……..water damage, dirty, rusty interior furniture, plaster falling off of the wall, no blankets.

Horrible time

First room had backed up plumbing and smelled like sewer. The second room was next door and still smelled and had to sheets on the bed. Upon returning to the front desk again we were told that is what they had available. When we said we were going to leave they refused to return any of our money.

Absolutely terrible. Booked one reservation for two rooms. At check-in we’re told 2 rooms didn’t mean 2 rooms that she “thought” it was a suite with combine living area 2 attached room. We got to room and was only one. She realized there was in fact 2 rooms. Photos of how dirty my room was. I slept on top of sheets with my jacket. Was too tired to ask to re clean room for second time. Looks like blood on floor, roaches, left over disposable fork, hair on towels and sheets that appeared like someone has slept and not been changed. Never again. Do better.

Paint falling off of wall. Front desk was slow with our check-in. Breakfast was the worst that I have ever had, very few choices, not enough seating for the size of the hotel.
