Absolutely disgusting place to stay! We showed up Thursday around 6pm, I had trouble with the lock box, the host responded very quickly. This was my fault. I then contacted him again about the lack of towels, toilet paper and the general condition of the home. I was offered a full refund to check out immediately. Seeing as we were in town for the NHRA races they're were no vacancies to be had. We were rather stuck. I was told it was the cleaners fault and that they were bringing items to us by 8pm. Those never materialized nor did the host check back with me again. I went to town and purchased all the items needed for the weekend myself.
The condition of the home was disgusting, from the walls to the bathroom, floors were sticky and gritty on hardwood. The list grew constantly! The dirty linens were in the closet waded up. The coffee pot was full of mold top and bottom. (I wish I could post pics) there was food in the fridge however not past expiration date? Could it belong to the backyard garage resident? Maybe?
This is true, he lives there he has water electric, A/C a ceiling fan bed and from what I saw it may be cleaner than the house. He came out occasionally and had a guest over on Saturday night my father spoke to him for awhile. The friend claimed no one had rented the place in quite awhile.making me wonder just how much access this renter has to the house.
Unfortunately I only get 1500 characters to review. So I'll just say!
I will never use VRBO again!!!
