I prepaid the hotel on the Expedia app and my credit card was also charged for a higher amount on the day of my checking. However the staff on shift at the hotel promptly reversed it when I told her what happened. If I hadn’t got and notice from my bank I would never have noticed. The hotel in old and in need of updates, but was reasonably clean.

Breakfast is included but is not that good. It's mostly bread, cereal and hard eggs. Options could be improved. The building is old, we heard the cracking wood when walking. There was even a water leak in the WC and shower. Mobiliarity seams to be from the 90's. We were there when the elevator was being replaced but we decided to stay there because was the best option price/near ev charger around Fredericton, and for one night was OK.

It is in the slow process of being updated but lots of rooms to go yet. The elevator is now completely out of service, which is par for the course. I stay there 3-4 times per year for up to 2 weeks at a time and I think it’s worked once or twice. This stay the bathroom had no hook on the door just a broken bracket, the towel rod was bent, grout missing from a good number of the floor tiles. The light fixture in the entry was full of dead bugs. Carpets are frayed. Vending machines half empty. I stayed 4 nights and only after my 3rd night did housekeeping come in and give me fresh towels. The other days no one so much as knocked and asked if I needed anything. It’s an old hotel, 2-2.5 star and charges 4 star rates. The breakfast is decent, the pool is ok, no hot tub. The restaurant is good. Only hotel in town so no competition.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpfull. But the fact that the elevator was not working, and we were on the 4th floor was very disappointing. She offered to carry up our bags but was i really going to ask her to carry heavy suitcases. No. The room was fine and clean. The parking was easy and close to the door. Someone kept setting off their car alarm from about 7am in the morning on a Sunday. Not the hotels fault but again frustrating. Ice maker at end of hallway was slow but did work. Overall the stay was fine for a 2 star hotel all things considered.

Stayed one night for around $200 (two people, one standard room). There was no staff at the front desk upon arrival, no bell, so we waited 5-10 mins at 10:30pm for someone to show up. We had to take stairs to the 4th floor room since elevators were out of service, where we found damp sheets on the bed. After our stay, we found a separate change on our Visa from the hotel (in addition to Expedia's charge) which they could not explain. Overall a bad experience for the price we paid, would not recommend staying at this hotel.

After we made the reservation (and paid in full) we were informed by a message that the elevator was not working. Seems like this is something we should have been aware of ahead of time or perhaps we could have been given a discount at check in. When we arrived we were given a room on the 3rd floor, after carrying our luggage up 3 floors we entered the hallway to hear two (if not three) very loud barking dogs in the room directly next to ours. Clearly they had been left alone in the room. I went back to the lobby and was told by the agent they had been trying to reach the guests "all day". after hemming and hawing about were they could move us we were finally offered an upgrade to a king room on the 4th floor! Up again and then back down 4 flights of stairs to get takeout from the dining room. No menus in the room for the restaurant, it would have been a lot easier to order from the room than to sit in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting to pick up our order. The room was very nice, the view was fantastic. But the elevator was a definite disappointment and not handled well. There initial solution was a full refund (at 6:30 at night) and to find another hotel.

While the interior was neat & tidy as expected, the outside grass and gardens hadn’t been touched yet. Almost made the property look abandoned. My BIGGEST complaint though is they should be telling customers at time of booking that they’re a 4 story building with a non-working elevator, not the morning of your check-in when it’s too late to cancel.

Hotel is definitely going through some Reno’s but we weren’t too pleased when we were notified the day before that the elevator wasn’t working. We ended up finding out that it has been down for weeks? So we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor. Not a good look.
