Room was clean but shower had spots on the wall. AC was excellent, room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Bottom floor/accessible room was very noisy as it was close to the check in desk, ice machine and smokers patio directly outside the window.

Great hotel for the money, slightly further from the highways than the Marriott compound in town but worth the drive for the value. The rooms are very large, with a full kitchen including a cooktop. Our King room had a recliner as well. The bed was firm; the water pressure was great; the floors were clean hard surfaces so no mystery stains! On the other hand, the pool was out of order.

I am working in Frederick for the next few months and am loving my stay at Candlewood! My suite is nice, comfortable, and perfect for my needs! I have had ZERO issues. As a female staying alone, I feel 100% safe here. The staff are all extremely friendly, welcoming, professional and very accommodating. So far the other guests I have encountered have been kind and quiet. The hotel is in the process of being updated, but if you didn't know work was being done, you'd have no idea. There have been no inconveniences or disturbances from the work going on. This hotel and the people there make having to work far away from home much more tolerable.

They are remodeling and in the middle of that project, however the room they gave was dirty, smelled bad, tub faucet leaked constantly (we were there for 3 nights) curtains were torn and was just not a pleasant experience. Didnt expect the room to be all remodeled and updated but didnt expect how bad of shape the room they did give is would be.
