Magical cabin getaway

This cabin was incredible for the two of us. Large enough for a family or a group of friends, it was just perfect for a couple to curl up in front of the fireplace for a romantic weekend

Disappointed

The property manager was very communicative and let us know prior to getting there that the combo lock on the door was not operational and gave us the combo to a lock box that held a key. However we didn't need it because the door on the deck was unlocked. When arriving we did a full sweep of the house for fear someone was there. When entering there was a REALLY strong smell of cannabis so much so that I sent a text to the property manager and we left the doors open for 30 mins to air it out. This was not fun since it was really cold outside. We settled in for the evening. We had 7 adults. There wasn't enough room for us to all sit in the living room area or at the dining room table. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom off the kitchen. When laying down there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the sheets and pillow cases. We are not smokers and I'm sensitive to the smell. It was so strong that I wrapped a blanket I brought around the pillow then washed all the linens the next day. The furniture in the living room is falling apart and VERY uncomfortable. This trip was for us to get away, stay in, play games, read, and watch movies. We couldn't sit on the couch or chairs for any more than an hour or so at one point we were all sitting on the floor. The slider door was broken and had been unlocked since we got there. We didn't notice until day 3. We wouldn't go back or recommend.

Quiet getaway in the White Mountains

The house, which was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, was situated within the complex as to provide a lot of privacy and quiet. It was also a convenient distance from the White Mountain National Forest. Were I to visit the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here. The only glitch was the code for the keyless entry did not work, and it took about an hour for the site manager to respond back with the code for the lock box. The remote for the gas fireplace did not work properly and was difficult to use.

Wonderful Get Away

Background: We stayed in mid-october with the goals of hiking and "leaf peaping". House was conveniently located close to Franconia downtown and a short drive to Franconia Notch State Park, Cannon Mountain, and several other picturesque New Hampshire towns. Home was 'as advertised'. It was comfy, cozy and has a nice open layout to gather with family inside during bad weather. The outdoor space has plenty of porch/deck space with great views. Plenty of amenities and Wi-fi was more than enough for streaming tv and using other devices.

Winter getaway

Everything was great, house beautiful, very clean. Only thing to mention a few more bath towels would of been nice, & upstairs mattress double bed extremely uncomfortable, very hard. Would rent again. House very cozy, loved loved. The living room & fireplace.

Summer ending vacay.

Great convenient location to highway small supermarket coffee shop very close by. Home was nestled off the road in a quiet spot in the woods great for relaxing and enjoying day/night.

Gorgeous cabin

Overall we loved the space. Big, modern and comfortable. Internet a little slow for streaming but worked. We stayed during a hot summer trip so my only complaint is no cooling system. We found 2 fans in the closet that helped but maybe adding something to help especially upstairs. Don't miss Polly's pancake house nearby

Perfect Place

A wonderful log cabin rustic experience yet with all the latest amenities...brand new stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, washer, dryer. This is the perfect place to relax in after hitting the trails and sites of Franconia Notch which is in very very close proximity to the cabin. Littleton is a nice town that is a short drive well with a nice downtown area.

Great, Quiet, well stocked

We had a great stay here, remote and quiet, usually just hear the birds, ocassional some noise from the DOT truck yard a half mile away but just a couple times a day. Wifi and cell worked well even for remote work. TV has plenty of channels, plus can log into Netflix, HBO Max, Disney etc. The little market 5 mins away at the crossroads in Franconia is well stocked with brands we liked, plus the co-op grocery in Littleton was like an independent whole foods. Bring slippers and extra towels if you have a long stay. No easy access into house if you have mobility issues, at least one person needs to be able to climb a high step and flight of stairs to unlock keypad at basement entry, but you can park by the main front door and later get in with 3-4 porch stairs. If others are using rooms upstairs the beds/wood floors make alot of creaky noise. Overall we loved our week stay and would go back.
