My husband and I just returned from a little getaway to FWB. We booked Gulf Dunes unit 410, the night before. The Brooks and Shorey Resorts staff was so friendly, and easy to deal with. This was our first time renting a condo on Okaloosa Island. The location was great! The condo is within walking distance to a few good restaurants, or a short drive to others/the Gulfarium/pier. There is also a cute little mini golf place within walking distance. Now to the actual condo... :) When we walked through the door, the smell was the first thing that caught my attention. It smelled so clean! It wasn’t an overpowering chemical smell of clean...it just smelled clean and good. My husband and I both said that it was the cleanest condo we’ve ever stayed in. It didn’t just smell clean, it looked and felt clean. Then, I noticed the amazing views! From the living area, the master, and the balcony...just stunning! We saw soooo many dolphins, while sitting on the balcony. The condo is so simply decorated, yet absolutely beautiful! The master bed and chairs in the living area were so comfortable! That and cleanliness are two big things for us, and this one nailed both! The condo came with beach service (two beach chairs and an umbrella), which made it nice, too. There are two pools at Gulf Dunes, with one being heated. We had zero complaints about this condo, and would 100% recommend it. We are looking forward to when we can return with our kids.
