Everything was great about this little studio condo. While it is very small, it was perfect for our couples getaway and had everything we needed! Will definitely consider it again in the future!

Perfect location for us! Just walk out the door to the pool or beach. Loved that beah chairs wirh umbrella were provided, so convenient not dragging anything but ourselves to the beach.Unit was very clean and communication for check in and out was easy. Looking forward to coming back, hoping it's available next trip!

Nice,cozy and quiet condo. Beach with umbrella and chairs only steps away. Pool right outside back door of condo. Me and the wifey will definitely come again.

We travel a bit and who can plan an exact arrival time? Legacy Vacations was very accommodating, let us in early. I have rented where the check in time they management is strict and I left. You can not go wrong with this location or Legacy Vacations. Sweet young lady even came by first day to make sure everything was good. Amazing people

187 steps to the ocean

Communication from host was best I have experienced ...they even went as far as to alert me of a road closing overnight for construction. The location was ideal for me...as I wanted something quiet and close to the beach. Being able to walk 187 steps from the back door to the water with no shoes on was an added bonus! Stayed in July so the free beach chair service with umbrella was appreciated. For one person who didn't want to be troubled with cooking this place really is ideal. If you plan on cooking be aware there is only a toaster oven not a traditional oven.The Beachview restaurant next door is a good place to grab a meal if you don't want to fight traffic.Thanks for a relaxing vacation!

You can tell they put thought into every detail. Access to the beach couldn’t have been easier, we were just steps away from the sand, making it perfect for quick trips with our little one. The deep pool was super fun and such a nice bonus for cooling off after a beach day. Super clean, adorably decorated with the perfect beachy vibe, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The view was absolutely beautiful. Already planning on booking again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and easy beach getaway!

Great for small family, couple, or someone who wants to get away.

Location, location, location! Walk directly from your room to the poool and only a few more steps and your on the beach. For our small family of 3 it was perfect! So much easier getting out each day with a little one!The property was clean! If you have ever lived in FL you know Palmetto bugs and critters are just part of it usually. We didn’t experience one bug while at our stay. The place is so clean! Dehumidifier in the room helped greatly to keep everything fresh and clean as well which was a nice added touch. The bed was comfy and a true kind size bed. Loved that they had community laundry room so we could just walk over and do a load whenever needed. We enjoyed our stay so much will be booking again in the future!

Really nice stay!

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed for 4 nights. The condo is great location for those wanting fast access to the beach. We stepped out the door and were about 5 feet from the pool and a one minute walk straight out to the the beach. We ordered groceries and cooked on site. In four days we never needed to leave the location. I worked remotely in the mornings and the WiFi access was great. We will stay here again. My only advice is to bring beach towels if you want them for on top of the beach chairs. We didn’t and had to order them for delivery. Also, coffee filers and more TP provided by host would be great. We ordered those as well. Overall we loved it!

Yearly Family Beach Vacation at Island Surf

We like that it is a smaller unit without elevators and high rise close to the beach with a view and beach chairs . I would like to suggest that the gate locks on the side property near the walls have pull locks like the pool area . The gate lock on the side near beach wall is loose / unbloted . Our 5 year old was able to open the gate and I found her in the front parking lot . The gate on the other side of the property is also loose. Thank You

Family Vacation 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Legacy Vacation it has been a family tradition for many years. We had not been to Legacy Condo the past 3 years due to Covid . This year 2023, the family traveled from SC , Tn , Al to Ft Walton Beach and we rented 5 Legacy units June 3-10 . I stayed in the efficiently unit I had stayed in the past and members of the family stayed in 1 and 2 bedroom units. This year I encountered a number of problems with the efficiency unit . First, the wifi internet password given at check in was not correct and had to call the office ' they informed us the wifi router had been changed to Cox and gave the new password. We could not get the TV to work and had to ask for help setting it up. All very frustrating to deal with on the first day . The coffee pot was would not work during the stay . The electric stove top was difficult . One member of the family had a flat tire in the parking lot in front of their condo unit. They had to take the flat off and take it and find a tire repair . They found a screw in the tire and it had to be patched and changed out. They were without a car for 3 days . The family checked out the parking lot and we all found similar screws in the front parking lot and back grass area from on site construction. We worried they might have a blowout with the patched tire on the Interstate with the long drive home to Charleston with children . Another member of the family found a flat tire the day after the drive back home to Memphis. They could have had a blowout on the Interstate with a car load of children Scary ! A neighbor in the upstairs unit told us the day he checked in his unit the HVAC was not working. He was sleeping on the outside porch . It took 2 + days before AC repairman came to the unit .
