3 ladies behind counter, I wasn’t liking what I was seeing but spent 15 minutes to check in. After check in they told me I also had to pay almost $20 to park there. Spa water very cloudy so didn’t use. Coffee at breakfast was only warm but used microwave to heat. Then 2 days later I’m alerted to a fraudulent purchase on my cc for $79. Coincidence?

An Absolutely Horrendous Experience - Avoid at All Costs! I wish I could give zero stars. We booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub, and it was broken the entire time with no warning. On top of that, the room was absolutely filthy—bloody sheets, blokady dirty towels, sand and hair on the Floors and not a single cleaning for eight days only towel change. They never changed the bedding made a bad or cleaned the floor once. It was absolutely disgusting. And it didn't stop there. The so-called complimentary breakfast was a nightmare. Everything in the breakfast area was dirty and barely working. The coffee machine and the waffle machine were both out of order, and the single staff member who was supposed to handle everything was using her dirty hands—long nails and all—to pull out utensils from drawers. She was touching the parts of the spoons that go directly into your mouth, which was beyond gross. Everything was absolutely unhygienic and disgusting everywhere you turned. There is a real problem with management at this hotel!!! We expect a refund for this terrible experience. Avoid this hotel completely if you value cleanliness and basic decency.

Room was in need of updating. Hot tub was dark green and cold. We received an additional charge of $17.39 billed to our credit card after we left for “Resort fee”. This fee was buried deep in the Expedia app and not mentioned at the top in the cost figures (even though the app at the top said “total with cost and fees”). Apparently the charge is for parking which makes no sense since there was tons of parking and parking everywhere else on Hutchinson Island is free. FYI - “total with cost and fees” should mean “total with cost and fees”!

Room was as clean as it could be. Little cockroach in the bathroom. Excellent location, friendly staff. They have 24 hr access to a small beach, fishing dock, fruit coffee and tea. 12 pm late check out. You can’t beat that. For the price it’s good. Just a bit worn, so if you can rough it just for the extras it’s worth it. But be prepared, it’s well cared for just worn a bit.
