Let’s start with the neighborhood impression. As we pulled into the street that the house was on, there was graffiti on the first building and a car parked diagonally from the rental that was covered in a tarp. My husband is convinced that people were living in that car. Once we got into the home, the decor was super cute. There was enough space for us all, but the layout with the third bedroom was a little unexpected. You had to leave the main house to get to it. But it was its own suite with a couch, bed and bathroom. But I had to move the couch for a plug and found mold behind it on the baseboards. That was alarming. The outdoor space was nice, but the covered furniture unfortunately was not usable. There are sadly stray cats in the yard that wander and the furniture smelled of cat urine. The pool was not clean so we didn’t get to use it. And it was not heated. While trying to sleep, the neighbors got into a screaming match at 4am and it sounded like they were right outside our window. And the rooster next door was not delightful. He crowed all hours of the day and night. There were a lot of little cosmetic things that need to be addressed. Again, the decor is super cute, but does not make up for the amount of maintenance that is lacking in this property.
