We stayed here for a week and were very happy with it. The inside looked comparable to the pictures in the listing. The outside area and associated acreage was awesome for kids to explore/roam around. Felt like a safe area, and only five minutes away from a grocery store.

Our family had a great stay at this property. The house is absolutely beautiful. We all really enjoyed the hot tub. The upstairs master shower is huge with steam and multiple jets. The filtered drinking water in the kitchen was very much appreciated. The property itself is expansive and great for a morning hike. My daughter and I were drinking coffee in the early morning on the pergola and got to watch a family of deer grazing super close. I would definitely recommend Hidden Hills!

THE GOODLarge, beautiful home in a good peaceful area. The property was secluded and quiet. The driveway was a little “rustic” but passable. The home itself was huge and well decorated with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. The back deck was very nice as well. THE BADWiring - Many of the lights flickered. Also, the lights on the pergola didn’t work at all. On the second day, a worker came to check the lights and found wiring stuffed up under the deck (pic below). If that was the pergola circuit, it was LIVE and an extreme fire/shock hazard. We turned off the power to the pergola and sat in the dark. Mice - We found mouse droppings on the kitchen counter, in the pantry, in the kitchen drawers, on the bedroom carpet (2nd floor), and in the bathrooms on all floors. There were also nests of sunflower seeds in several drawers. Late at night, the critters could be heard in the walls of the 3rd floor. The beds in this room had mouse droppings BETWEEN THE SHEETS. Cleanliness - We saw lots of dust on the floors and light fixtures. There were also several old doggie “pee spots” on things like bed skirts and couch legs. Some of these could (should) have been cleaned. Likewise, we found dead spiders and spider webs in several areas. Batteries - Several remotes for ceiling fans had corroded batteries. The host did fix this by the second day.

Beautiful home, bad management

This is a gorgeous home on a stunning property nestled in the Hill Country, truly a gem. However the details in the property were lacking. We booked this home for my entire extended family of 20 and were given minimal paper products and trash bags, 2 to be exact for an extended weekend. We were so excited for the hot tub only to find out it does not work. The day we arrived there was a maintenance worker from Hill Country Properties filling the hot tub. She had to drain it because there were tiny beads in the hot tub. However when she filled it she said there were the same beads coming from the hose as well. These beads came from the water well and were in our hair when we showered and all of the faucets. I called to have someone come check the very low water pressure and was told by a different maintenance person that there was nothing they could do. The kitchen sink was barely a trickle and washing dishes was almost impossible. It wasn’t until some family members brainstormed and unscrewed the kitchen faucet and found it full of these beads. The day we arrived the trash was overflowing and we were not able to put our trash in the bin as instructed. It took them 24 hrs before they came to empty the bins. The master toilet handle was broken when we arrived and set on top of the toilet by I assume the maid service. As to why it was not repaired prior is beyond me. To summarize beautiful EXPENSIVE home lacking management.

Family birthday gathering

Eleven of us ranging in age from 8 to 80 gathered to celebrate birthdays. The home was lovely, spacious and definitely exceeded expectations. We enjoyed our week stay!

Great home for a large group!

This was a great property for our family and there was Entertainment for everyone.we loved the spacious layout and the pretty views. The weather was not great so we were limited to outside activities. The back porch seating area was amazing. We Would stay here again for sure.

A True Oasis

We could not have been happier with our stay here, it was as beautiful and pristine as in the pictures. Our only regret was not having more time to stay and take it all in, cannot wait to return, 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this spacious house! There was more than enough room for the three families that came. The house was clean and well-equipped with high-end accommodations. The kitchen and living area were very comfortable and especially enjoyable, thanks to the big windows and great view. The kids loved exploring the extensive acreage, hiking the nature trails, and playing in the hot tub (which was not heated during our summer stay and easily visible from the kitchen/living area, allowing us to keep an eye on them). The game room, movie theater room, books, and games kept everyone entertained—we could have spent several more days here and still had plenty to do. This property exceeded our expectations and is perfect for families looking to relax and enjoy nature. It's also an ideal spot for family reunions, meeting up with friends, or even work meetings and retreats. We can't wait to return!

Best Rental Ever!

We plan to come back soon! My husband and I rented this beautiful home for a few days in May. We had family coming and wanted a space up in the hill country. We are so glad we chose Hidden Hills. First, the home was beautiful and immaculate. It has top notch finishes with tons of amenities. We had 6 adults and 3 kids but are looking at dates to book our family reunion as the home would easily fit 5 families with kids. An amazing value for the money. Everyone was comfortable in their own space. There are tons of places for kids to play and for adults to relax. We could be together or spread out. We planned on spending more time at canyon lake but there was so much to do at the home! The kids played foosball, board games, soccer, pool or on tire swings. We all hiked the 56 acres and enjoyed the large hot tub. There’s a beautiful .6 mile loop around the home but you can easily ‘off road’ through the trees to enjoy the butterflies, birds, and deer (we’d see deer every morning out the huge back windows). The kitchen was great, we cooked many of our meals (grocery just 5 minutes away), but there are great places to eat close by and lots of cute little towns worth exploring. It’s a huge property, you get to enjoy nature without being in the middle of nowhere. Most of the property is fenced in but not 100% so keep that in mind if you're bringing dogs. As long as they have a decent recall they would LOVE the sights and smells to roam in all of the space!
