Gaseous getaway
The minute we walked in the cabin we were hit with an overwhelming smell of natural gas. We checked the stovetop to make sure the gas stove pilots weren’t on, which they were not. The odor seemed to be coming from the furnace area in the laundry room. Needless to say the problem continued the entire weekend. Another issue we had was with the main level bathroom toilet. It was used once and wouldn’t flush properly so we could not use it the entire weekend. We also had problems with the upstairs shower head and the 3rd shower downstairs was not really useable due to having no light so we had one shower to use. We did attempt to get a hold of the property manager with no luck. We did hear back from someone at Evolve who told us to contact the property manager. It was a spacious cabin, but sleeping spaces were not as advertised as the main couch really couldn’t be used to sleep on. And the stairs to go up to the loft area were definitely not safe. All in all a disappointing stay.
