We had a great time in Colorado, the house is wonderful.
The only problems we had were communicating through Vacasa about a few minor issues. Vacasa was HORRIBLE. They did not respond quickly, and when they did they did not provide helpful answers, it often appeared they did not even read the content of the messages we sent or read the history (someone different responded each time).
For example, we wanted to open the glass door to the deck, but it requires a key. When we asked for a key, multiple times, they simply responded at first by asking if we found the key. Then, after we had been there about 2 weeks and I asked again, they told me to look in a lock box, even though there is no lock box and even if there was we did not have any code. I gave up.
We had similar issues with a fire alarm on the vaulted ceiling that began beeping as if it had no batteries, even though it is electrically connected. We asked for a higher ladder to reach it and explained that it was electronically connected. They responded by telling us to put batteries in it, even though we could not reach it and it did not require batteries. We managed to stop the beeping by knocking it off the ceiling with a short ladder and a pole, it was still hanging by its wires but luckily the beeping stopped.
So my biggest problem was the lack of communication with Vacasa and the owners, and the inability to fix minor issues. But, other than that, it is a lovely house and we enjoyed our stay.
