Staff was great. Hotel is dated, but cheap so you get what you pay for… literally. They originally put me in a room without a working heater (it was cold) and a sticky floor. They then moved me into a nicer room, but there was a noise all night that sounded like Darth Vader’s breathing. Breakfast was on par and their scrambled eggs were better than most. They also had Turkish coffee and free cookies which was a treat.

The staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly. The breakfast is much better than most Continental breakfasts and they even serve fresh Turkish coffee - my first time having it. My only recommendation would be to management to put a full size mirror in each room. that is the only downside to the hotel. I want to be able to see what I look like from head to toe before I leave; not just from waste up. The rooms are very comfortable and they even have a massage chair that you can use whenever you want for free.

The Sonesta looks a lot better in pictures than it did in real life. In real life, it's kind of shabby. It's like economy lodging with a few nice touches but can't escape its origins. There was florescent lighting in the bathroom, a hole in the bathroom ceiling that looked like maybe someone had cut an opening for a new light but never got around to installing it. It was relatively clean but not thoroughly cleaned—there was still dirt in some corners, dust on some surfaces. A coffee machine in the lobby that was turned off (did it not work? was it simply off? who knows). The heater in my room was apparently broken (still cold after running for a few minutes) but I was too tired and it wasn't *quite* cold enough for me to bother contacting the front desk about it (I was warm enough under the blankets). The bright spots were: - pet friendly (like *very* pet friendly) - wonderful free breakfast! - bed & pillows were comfortable - shower had decent pressure and plenty of hot water (when I showered late at night) - minifridge & microwave in the room - relatively affordable I'd consider coming back here in a pinch, but I'd look for a nicer hotel first.

From the greeting to the exit... I was genuinely impressed.. Unfortunately, good customer service is a lost art; however, Sonesta seems to have unburried this treasure.. they were genuine, the rooms were fully stocked with things that you might have forgotten at home and exceptionally clean! There were ample towels, washcloths et cetera, and an extra blanket. The rooms are accessible through the lobby, only, as they are encased within a enclosed structure. You cannot hear anything from the outside, nor from any other rooms. Blackout blinds and very comfortable bed with awesome linens. One could definitely catch up on much needed rest before taking that next adventure, or the long drive home. THANK YOU, SONESTA HOTEL and STAFF. PS There is an extra plus because they are pet friendly...;however, there is a charge, albeit a small one, one cannot find a hotel with all the amenities AND pet friendly, too.

Love this hotel. The staff are always so kind. The breakfast and Turkish coffee bar are phenomenal. The massage chair is great! It’s quiet and clean and on the same parking lot as Vacaville Ice Sports so we can walk right over for tournaments. We always look forward to staying there. The center courtyard is so pleasant. Only negative feed back is the ice machine and water dispenser needs an update. Other than that we love it!
