The Front desk staff were fantastic. They were all very outgoing and super friendly. The 2 bedroom beachfront bungalows were fine but we preferred the layout of the 2 bedroom oceanview apartments. However, these are directly over the pool and the view is more pool view than true oceanfront. This hotel is nice but not a five star property. 4 star would be more appropriate. The restaurant and staff were subpar. Wait staff just seemed annoyed they actually had to work. The attitude and professionalism is not something you would expect at a 2 star resort let alone a 4 star resort. An example would be our breakfast experience. During breakfast we asked to replace the grilled tomatoes with another side of lesser value due to allergies but we were told no changes could be made. This is not something you would encounter at any “luxury” resort or a higher end restaurant. Also, non of us could eat the eggs as they were not fully cooked, some of the toast was so burnt it was not fit for human consumption. The staff never asked how the meal was or why none of us ate the eggs, etc. We also had lunch on site. The burgers and lunch items were very good. Dinner on the other hand was inedible. 7 meals and 6 of us could not eat the food. The kids chicken fingers and fries were a hit. I would research other properties before booking here again.

Chocolates for the Entire Staff!

We arrived late after driving 14 hours from Perth due to a flight cancellation. We alerted the property and they provided us with an easy way to get our room cards after hours. We stayed a week and the entire staff was fantastic. Our room was super clean every day when we got back from our day snorkeling tours. One day- we were late for a tour and inadvertently left the room safe open. When we got back- everything in the safe was intact - much to our relief. We left a note with the manager to commend the crew that worked that day. We needed a couple of additional items for the kitchen and housekeeping was already delivering the items before we got back to the room from the front desk.
